The felling or back cut is made on the side opposite and at least 2 inches above the hori zontal undercut (the felling cut is made higher as the size of the tree increases). When diagnosing faults in operation of the saw , always make sure the hydraulic power source is supplying the correct hydraulic ow and pressure to the saw as listed in the table.
