1. Xenon b ulb lamp 1. XENON BULB LAMP Safe ty Read all warnings and cautions at tentively . This to prevent per sonal injury while installing an xenon bulb lamp in the lam p house of the DP-1200/DP-1500/DP-2000 digital cinema projector .
1. Xenon b ulb lamp 1.1 Introduction Lamp & lamp house The xenon bulb lamp is delivered separately and ha s to be installed on site by a quali fi ed service technician. B A Image 1-1 A Lam p house. B X enon bulb lamp. Protective package The xenon bulb lamp is packed in a protec tive container or wrapped in a pr otective cloth.

2. Xenon bulb l amp replacement pr ocess 2.1 Remov al of the lamp house W ARNING : This proc edure may onl y be perfor med by quali fi ed technical service perso nnel. C AUTION : Lamp casing is very hot after operation. T o avoid burns, let the projector cool dow n for at least 15 minutes before proceeding to the lamp unit replacement.
2. Xenon b ulb lamp rep lacement pr ocess While starting up the projector , the electronics detect if a lamp is installed. If no lamp is installed, it is not possible to start up the projector .

2. Xenon bulb l amp replacement pr ocess Image 2-12 8. Reinstall the UV blocker ass embly as illustrated. Mak e sure that t he xenon bulb lamp is properly support ed by the lamp supporting mechanism in the centre of the UV blocker .
2. Xenon b ulb lamp rep lacement pr ocess 2,5 Nm A Image 2-15 1 1. Reinstall the side cover of the lamp house as illustrated. Note: Please ensure that the thumb screws turning wire s are fl ash with the cover or interf erence will occur while i nserting the lamp house into the projector .
2. Xenon bulb l amp replacement pr ocess 2.4 Installation of the lamp house W ARNING : This proc edure may onl y be perfor med by quali fi ed technical service perso nnel. C AUTION : Due to its hi gh internal pressure, the lamp may explode in either hot or cold states i f improperly hand led.

Neg l ecti ng this u pdate wi l l re sult in poo r perfo r m ance and sh ort lif e time o f the xenon bulb lamp.
2. Xenon b ulb lamp rep lacement pr ocess 2.6 Realignment of the lamp in it s re fl ector Each xenon bulb lamp installation req uires a realignment of the l amp in its re fl ec tor for op timal per formance of the xenon b u lb lamp in the D P-1200/DP-1500/ DP-2000 projector .
2. Xenon bulb l amp replacement pr ocess X LY Z Y LX Image 2-21 7. Fasten the X-axis lock thumb screw (ref LX image 2-21) and Y-axis lock thumb screw ( r ef L Y image 2- 21) . 8. Switch off the projector . 9. Reinstall the cover of the lamp compartment.
