The information that this option gives you includes: • HDD Status: Displays the current oper ating status of the har d drive.

This setting allows y ou to adjust particular areas of each camera where motion will and will not be detected. This is good if you had a camera poin ted tow ards something that is alw ays moving , such as a busy road .

Viewing y our footage from y our computer allows y ou more options for manipulating the video as well as for backing up f ootage directly to your c omputer .
