20 PDT 8100 Series with Intel XScale T echnology Navigation Bar and Command Bar The navigation bar at the top of the scree n displays the active program and current time, and allows you t o select progr ams and close screens. The command bar at the bottom of t he screen contains menus and buttons to perform tasks in programs.
21 Quic k Ref erence T o show or hide the input panel, tap the Input Panel button. T ap the arro w next to this button to view input methods. When you use the input p anel, your te rminal anticipates the word you are typing or writing and di splays it above the input panel.

25 Quic k Ref erence T o perform a hard reset on the terminal: 1. Remove the battery cover . 2. While holding down the Function key , use the stylus (or similar ob- ject without a sh arp tip) to gently press the r eset button. 3. Replace the battery cover and press the Power button.
