1 1. Getting to know your device Teasi One has 2 hardwa re buttons on the left side of t he dev ice. The lower butt on is responsib le for switching on and off the de vice, and f or locking the screen. Long pressing the power bu tton Long pressing this bu tton will pop up th e menu allow ing the locking o r the powe ring on or off.
2 List selector Tap on one option to s elect it. Sliders When a feature can have valu e s that can be assign ed to a scale, the so ftware will show sliders that look li ke analog ue potentiometers to set the desired value. Slider If the values are n o t shown, the v alues are incr easing from the left to the right.
3 The keyboard only all ows possibl e characters to be tapped Numeric Pad Entering numbers is p o ssible via the nu meric pad. It is also available fr om the ABC ke y board by th e button “ 123 ” . Numeric keypad Power managemen t Power managem ent is for savin g power for the de vice.
4 If suspend is chosen, the device will g o to sleep mode, so that the o ngoing recor dings and processes will be pau sed, b ut they can be continu ed by waking up the devic e via the power button.
5 After selecting a language, the End- User License Agreemen t will show. After rea ding and accepting th e EULA by pressing OK ( ) on the bottom of the scr een, date & time screen will show. It is also essential to set up your own Profile , so Teasi will be able to navigate usin g the most preferable r oads for you.
6 Main Menu of Bik eNav Teasi One From the Main Menu you a re able to access all the feature of Te asi. In the next secti o ns you will be able to learn what you are able to do with this device and have the most beau tiful experience during your outd oor activity.
7 Map can be panned by tapping on it, and zoomed in and out via the zoom buttons ( and ) Jumping back to th e current location is possible by the current l ocation button ( ). These buttons will disap pear after a while; they can b e brought bac k by tapping o n the screen again.
8 Points of Interests, alias POIs can be displayed and sel ect ed on the m ap . The POIs will be shown on map when the right se ttings are used ( this is better explain ed in Set tings – Maps chapter). Map Screen with POIs To select a POI on m ap, tap o n a POI indicated visuall y by its category icon.
9 Multiple POI selec tion This screen lists the P OIs availab le in the vicinit y of the tapp ed area. Tapping on o ne of them will bring the map over the l o cation of the desired POI. When the right POI is selected, tapping o n ‘ Go ’ ( ) will start routing , and tapping on information ( ) will bring up the P OI Details scre en.
10 Favorites shown on map The favorites will b e shown on map, if the rig ht settings are used (this is bet te r explained in Setting s – Maps chapter). The favorites can als o be grouped wh en they would fit next to each other. A group of favorit es will be shown by the sign: Tapping on it will result in a lis t containing nearb y favorites.
11 3.1.1. Navigation Po pup If you have an ongoing navigation, bu t the devic e is not on the m ap screen, and a turning instruction is approaching, the device will sh ow a popup message with the related instructi o n. Navigation Popup If you tap on the instruction itself, the map screen will be displayed to show the details of the navigati on.
12 My Trips contains all your trips rec o rded with the Teasi device o r the routes you have planned and sa ved. My Trips On the bottom of the screen you can choose to order t he trips by distance ( ) (this way the sh ortest trip w ill be on top), or by time ( ) (this way the latest trip will be on top).
13 With the arrows ( and ) yo u can se e further data ab o ut the track, altitude and speed gr aphs are availab le. With the “ Go ” button ( ) you can start navigation to the track, and with the bin icon ( ) you can erase the trac k from your device .
14 Details of Favorite shown on Map To change its nam e and ty pe, tap on the nam e on the top of the screen. Edit Favorite After changing the v alues, OK ( ) commits your change s. On the bottom of the details scre en there are add itional options. You can start navigation to the f avorite item, and with the bin ic on ( ) you can erase it.
15 You can download GP X tracks to the device To import trips: 1. Connect the Teasi d evice t o a computer. 2. Create a folder on th e device inside the BikeNav fold er called “ ImportedTrips ” , if no t already existing .
16 Tap on a trip to see i ts detail s, and modify it. On the first tap it will be shown on the map. Trip details To change its nam e and type, tap on the name on the top of the scr een. After changing the value s OK ( ) commits your chan ges. On the bottom of the details scre en there are add itional options.
17 Importing POIs When you have i mported POIs, thes e will be sh own inside this ar ea. Imported POI categorie s Tapping on , edits the selected Cat egory ’ s name and icon. On the bottom of the screen you can choose th e sortin g method by alphab et ( ), reverse alphab et ( ), or by distance ( ) (this way the closest POI will be on top).
18 3.2.6. Statistics Statistics is the t ool that shows you a su mmary of you r act ivity . Statistics screen Statistics can su mmarize all user related data based on profiles, time, and only on- track (recorded trips ), or off-track data included (all inf o rmation since fir st power up / last reset).
19 You can increase wi th plus, decrease with min us sign. Accept the chang es with tick sign, cancel with ‘ X ’ . The upper text matches t he unit o f the selected time interval ( for example 1/20 13 gives the first w eek of 20 13 ), and the lo wer one tells t he exact interval.
20 3.3. Fitness Fitness option allo ws you to set a r oute based on so me paramet er you would lik e to put the emphasis on. Thes e parameters can b e divided into two secti o ns. You can set for how long do you wan t to train, or you can set the intensity of your trainin g.
21 You can also plan a r o ute with the gi ven parameters, by selecting the “ Plan route ” option. Please refer to chapter 3.5 for further inf ormation ab o ut “ Plan route ” function. Parameters bas ed on how long should th e training last are Distanc e, Time, and Calories.
22 3.4. Destination Destination menu i s implement ed in a complex, yet simply unders tandable way to make finding any parti cular address or locati on in an easy way. Search Destination 3.4.1. Address Address search is t o find a location by its p o stal addres s.
23 By tapping the field un der t he city/postal code the virtual A BC keyboard will appear. You can start typing the city you are looking for, an d only the possible next characters will b e available on the keyb oard, thanks to the predictive inp ut engine.
24 Enter Street in Add ress Search By tapping the field und er the stre et the ABC ke y board will appear. Yo u can star t typing the stre et you are lo oking for, and only the p o ssible next characters will b e available on the k ey board, thanks to the predicti ve input engine.
25 Enter house numb er in Address Sea r ch When tapping on the house nu mber field th e virtual n umeric keypad acti v ates. On this keypad you can enter the h ouse number y ou are looking f or. If the house nu mber is not valid, the device will ask whether it should target the center of the stree t itself.
26 Teasi application pr o poses three alternati ve routes. Alternative rou te selector The “ Suggested ” path gi ves the best combination of r oads, paying attenti o n to optimize the type of roads (based on user profile), har dness and length of the route.
27 If there are more than 8 addresses, you can go thr o ugh them by the up /down buttons ( and ). A star ( ) means that the address has be en saved as a favorite too. You can sort the list with t he “ A- >Z ” b utton ( ). The ordering options ar e: from A t o Z ( ), from Z to A ( ), or Time ( ) (most recent searche s o n the top).
28 Searching POI by Nam e Searching by Type, a list will show the available cat egories, and the desired one should be selected. Also Categories fr om Imported POIs will be lis ted here. POI Search by Type Recent searches can be ordered by alphabet ( ), reverse alphab et ( ), or by time ( ) (most recent search will b e on top).
29 POIs are always searched a round your current position and when you will get a list of the matching it em s, you will g et the beeline dist ance from the POI. When you have selec t ed your desir ed item, then the “ Start Navigati on ” screen will be displayed, as alre ady explained inside the Addre ss Search.
30 Search by Map Poin t Tap on the map to selec t your target des tination . A ch eckered flag will be displayed. If the point is right, then just press “ Go ” to move to th e “ Start Navigation ” s creen, as already explained inside the Address Search.
31 3.4.6. Trips You can also sear ch your Trips , by sel ecting the Trips i con inside th e Search me nu . A list will appear with your saved trips, both local, and impo rted ones. Trips can be ordered by distance ( ) (the shortes t will be on top) , or by time ( ) (most recent search will be on top).
32 Selecting this opti on allows routing fr om the current location to the st art point o f the desired track, th en navigation will be continued on the track until i ts end point. This option reverts the navigation, g oing first to the end point of the track, th en guiding till the origin al star t point.
33 Plan Route (Fitness mode) Tap on the screen to create a start point for the track (you can pan and zoo m to choose the preferred l o cation). If you tap the scr een inside the cir cle that identifi es your current location, then th e starting point will be automatically set to y our current location.
34 When you start th e Route p lanning from the Fitness m enu, this fun ction has also s ome other characteristics : your current position will be the start p o int of your route, and you will see the blu e flag on your GPS location.
35 With the buttons at the bottom of the screen you can reach o ther options of this function: you can s tart/stop recording with th e recordin g icon ( ), or move to the Speedo meter and the Compass screen by se lecting th e arrow button s.
36 The Compass screen shows the dire ctio n to north, thr o ugh the built-in C ompass available inside the Te asi One devi ce. An icon with the sun is displayed on the compass to help y ou in the orienta tio n when you are standin g. Under the compass, t here are als o two changeable computers that can be set by tapping on them.
37 On the second pag e of map setting s are placed the se ttings of displaying favorites and POIs. The display of each it em can be set by its individual “ S how on map ” butt on ( ). For Map, and Import ed POIs the shown categories are also s electable by the “ Select Categori es ” button ( ).
38 3.7.3. Accounts Account settings In Accounts you are able to create up to 8 user profil es. Existing profiles can als o be edited or re m oved . To create a profile ( only if less than 8 pr o files are existing): 1. Tap on the plus sig n ( ) 2. Tap on the details y ou want to chan ge from the default values 3.
39 Pressing arrow bu ttons, you can defin e other para m eters for your ac co unt, like the road preferences you would like to be used when a route is calc ulated. 3.7.4. Language Language selec tion In Language you can s elect the langu age for the user i nterface .
40 You can also chang e the Da te & Time for mat. Date can be “ Day / M onth / Year ” , “ Month / Day / Ye ar ” , or “ Year / Month / Day ” . Time can be AM /PM or 24 hours. When Automatic ti me is chosen, you need to set y o ur own Time Z o ne.
41 3.7.7. Screen Screen settings The Screen setting s contain options rela ted to skin, brightness, ti mer, and scr een calibration. The skin selector is t o change betw een ‘ Dark ’ , ‘ Light ’ , and ‘ Auto ’ skins, for different lighting c o nditions.

Info Information about BikeNa v Teasi One In Info it is possible to: - Check the versi on numbers of the s o ftware. - Read the E nd -User License Agreement by selecting “ EULA ” ( ) - Check the copyrights. - Reset the device t o factory defaults by tapping on “ Reset ” ( ) and selecting yes in the confirmation quer y .
43 4. Connect Teasi to yo ur Computer / TEASI -tool TEASI Tool TEASI Tool is the uni v ersal onlin e tool for your T EASI. It allows you to manage e verything related to your TEASI li ke updating the .
44 Note: If you have a Micro SD card ins talled in your TEASI it will be recognized by the TEASI Tool and displayed for se lection in the right windowpane next t o the TEASI. For performance r easons we r ecommend to always store map s, POIs, trips, e tc.
