USER’S GUIDE.
Congratulations on purchasing a pager watch by Beepwear TM , a Timex and Motorola product. Beepwear TM pager watches combine numeric and word paging with all the features and convenience of a wristwatch.

1 Step 1: Peel Off Battery Protector The battery has a protective covering and will not work unless the covering is removed. Simply peel off the covering using the tab and let the battery breathe for 1-2 minutes before putting it into the watch.
Step 4: Replace Battery Lid Replace the battery lid so that the arrow lines up with the ”open“arrow. Turn the arrow counterclockwise to ”close“. 2 Review pages 3-6 to become familiar with the watch features and functions. See pages 7 and 8 for setting the time on your watch.
3 WATCH BUTTONS The symbols below are used to identify the five watch buttons. Press the F UNCTION button to show the options within each mode. Press the READ button (top right) to move forward. Press the button (bottom right) to move backward. The M ODE button presents the main operations of the watch.
4 WATCH MODES Time of day is the main setting shown on the watch. Press and release the mode button to advance through the modes. Press Mode Time of Day Pager again Alarm Stopwatch again again Return .

7 WATCH SETTIN GS The following unctions are available from the time of day mode. Turn Pager on/off on/off escape: returns to time of day mode Make Pager silent/audible silent/audible escape again Press To.
8 Set watch time to select TZ1 or TZ2 (Time Zone 2) to change seconds .............. to zero, to zero to change hours .................. to increase, to decrease to change minutes .............. to increase, to decrease to change month ...............
9 WH E N A PA GE I S R E CEI V ED When a page is received, the ”new page received“ message will be displayed and a tone will sound (light flashes in silent mode).
Hint: When you see this prompt flashing, press the READ button to complete the function shown. Similarly when you see this prompt flashing, press the button to complete the function shown. (A prompt is an instruction the watch is giving you to press the button shown at any time.
11 PA GE R FU N CT IO NS From the time of day mode, press mode button once to go to pager mode. The word pager appears followed by a pager status message screen.
12 See page status message screen (return to beginning of loop, see page 11) Note: You can turn the pager on/off and make the pager silent/audible from either time of day mode or pager mode. * Hint: If you press for escape, you will receive the page status message screen.
13 SETTING THE WATCH ALARM S From the time of day mode, press ode button twice to go to alarm mode. There are 10 alarms/reminders available. They can be set as daily, monthly or yearly alarms. to edit unused alarm step thru alarm list (1-10) go to alarm mode Press To.

15 SETTING THE WAT CH ALARM S (CONT.) O PTIONS FOR MONTH / DAY ALARMS : (see page 14 in “edit selected alarm” option) ”MM/DD“ – DAILY ALARM (Leave setting as MMDD to sound the alarm daily.) This alarm can be used as a daily wake-up alarm, a daily task or a daily meeting reminder.
16 USING THE STOPWA TCH From the time of day mode, press ode button three times to go to stopwatch mode. (100 hour stopwatch with 1 second resolution) Hint: You can leave the stopwatch mode and the stopwatch will continue running. The stopwatch symbol will appear on the time of day screen as a reminder that the stopwatch is running.
17 A DDITIONAL WATCH FEAT URES I NDIGLO ® NIGHT LIGHT WITH N IGHT M ODE ® OPTION Once activated, any button pushed will cause the I NDIGLO ® night light to stay on for 3 seconds. The N IGHT M ODE ® feature is activated by pressing and holding the I NDIGLO ® button for 3 seconds.
18 T IME OF D AY M ODE R ESET The w at ch w ill aut omat ica lly r eturn to T i m e of d a y m o d e a f t e r2 m i n u t e s . B ATTERY ( 675 battery cell recommended. ) The main watch battery is a size 675 (common zinc-air hearing aid battery). Expected battery life is approximately 3 months and will vary depending on the watch and pager usage.
19 A D DIT IO N AL PAG ER FEA TU RE S N EW P AGE R EMINDERS • If a new page was not read when first received, then, as a reminder, the watch will chirp every 2 minutes for 30 minutes. (In silent mode, the light will flash every 2 minutes for 30 minutes.
20 E RRORED D ATA I NDICATOR ( ) • This symbol is displayed in a page message when potentially errored data has been received. Pause the page to view possible errored characters. M ISSING C HARACTER I NDICATORS • If part of a message has not been received, <.
21 O UT OF R ANGE ( ) • With this option enabled by the service provider, is displayed whenever you are out of range of the pager transmitter. L IGHTWEIGHT D URABLE D ESIGN • For extended life, your pager watch has been designed to withstand exposure to moisture.
22 OFF- T HE-WRIST ACCESSORIES This pager watch can also be worn off-the-wrist as a pager by removing the watch bands and placing the unit in the off-the-wrist accessory. On the back of the watch, locate the quick release toggle on the wrist- band. Slide the toggle to the right to release the band pin.
