FULL Y A UT OMA TIC W ASHING MA CHINE AW -7480EM Thank you f or purchasing TOSHIBA Fully A utomatic W ashing Machine. • Please read this manual carefully in order to operate the machine properly . • Sometimes you ma y find some water remaining in the drainage hose at your first oper ation.

Never attempt to touc h laundry in the spin basket until the motion of the basket stops completely . Laundr y in the bask et may become wr apped around the hand, ev en when the basket is only moving slo wly .

4 2 1 DESCRIPTION AND OPERA TION OF P ANEL P AR TS CHILD PROOF MODE DISPLA Y • Check this to see if the CHILD PROOF mode is ON (lit) or war ning (flashing). PROCESS DISPLA Y • Operating process is indicated by flashing. Remaining process is indicated by lightening.
5 CHILD PR OOF MODE (if y ou have small children) This model is equipped with CHILD PROOF mode . After this mode is set to ON, the washer will alarm you if the lid is opened during operation. If you find accident such as falling of child into wash tub, please take necessary safety action urgently .
6 HO W T O OPERA TE Preparation 1 Set drainage hose f or drain. 2 Set the water supply hose correctly . 3 Tu rn the w ater faucet on. • Make sure that there are no sign of w ater leakage at water tap or inlet v alv e.
7 W ASHING OF BLANKET T ype and amount which may be washed. Single size (140 cm x 200 cm or less) 100% synthetic fiber type: Ma yer , T uft, Down cloth W eight: 2.8 kg or less • All wool blank ets and regular electric blankets should NEVER be washed.
8 3 Close the lid and press the ST ART b utton. • To use drain only , leave the lid open. After error displa y appears, turn the power off. CUST OM W ASH CYCLES Y ou can select the operation that you want — such as spin only or rinsed water reuse.
9 LA UNDR Y GUIDE If y ou feel the water amount is less or m uch W ater lev el is automatically set to suit the laundry amount. If y ou f eel the w ater amount is less or much, you can adjust it b y f ollo wing. If you f eel the water amount is much. If you f eel the water amount is less.

12 Mo ving the drainage hose The drainage hose can be installed on either the right or left side. The connector por t f or the drainage hose is f ound on the right side of the washing machine, but it can be changed without disconnecting the internal hose from the drainage valv e.
13 INST ALLA TION Attaching the water suppl y hose to the faucet If you attach the w ater supply hose completely , it ma y cause a water leakage. F aucet shape W all-mounted faucets are best.
