5 Operation section Push each button to select a desired oper ation. • The details of the operation needs to be set up once, afterw ard, the air conditioner can be used b y pushing ON / OFF b utton only . 1 Air v olume select b utton Selects the desired air v olume mode.

9 TIMER OPERA TION A type of timer operation can be selected from the f ollowing three types . OFF timer : The operation stops when the time of timer has reached the set time. Repeat OFF timer : Every time, the operation stops after the set time has passed.
10 HINTS FOR ECONOMICAL OPERA TION Maintain room temperature at comf or table level Clean air filters The clogged air filter impairs the perf ormance of the air conditioner . Never open door s and windows more often than necessary T o keep cool or w ar m air in the room, ne v er open doors and windows more often than necessar y .
11 If y ou do not plan to use the unit for more than 1 month (1) Oper ate the f an for 3 to 4 hours to dry inside the unit • Operate “ F AN ONL Y ” mode with set temperature 30 ° C. (2) Stop the air conditioner and turn off the main power s witch or the circuit breaker .
12 AIR CONDITIONER OPERA TIONS AND PERFORMANCE 3 minutes pr otection function 3-minutes protection function pre v ents the air conditioner from star ting for initial 3 min utes after the main pow er s witch/circuit break er is tur ned on f or re-star ting the air conditioner .
13 RE-INST ALLA TION D ANGER Ask the dealer or an installation prof essional to re-install the air conditioner to a ne w place or mo ve it to another place and to observe the f ollowing items. If the air conditioner is inappropriate installed b y y our self , it ma y cause electric shoc k or fire.
14 Before y ou ask f or servicing or repairs, check the f ollo wing points. Inoperative • The main power s witch is tur ned off. • The circuit breaker is activ ated to cut off power supply . • The main pow er fuse has b lown out. • Stoppage of electric current.
