1 Intro duction 1.1 Preface Thank y ou fo r using the USB-MusicStick 100 . This User’s Manual p rovides detailed instructions and illustrations to help y ou enjo y y our new pla y er. T o ensure p roper op eration, please read the manual ca refully .

2.2 Op eration A-B Segment Rep eat Mo de Select the A-B repla y When ’A-’ sta rt blinking, p ress ’ ’ once while playing a track to ma rk the b eginning of section where y ou w ant to sta rt (A). When ’B-’ sta rt blinking, p ress ’ ’ again to where you w ant the section to end (B).
2 Getting sta rted 2.3 Menu Press MODE fo r 2 seconds to access the Main Menu. Note: Y ou can access the Main Menu b y p ress in the MODE fo r 2 seconds from anywhere in the submenu o r during music pla ying. 2.3.1 Record Mode It reco rds voice through internal microphone.
2.3 Menu Pla ying Reco rd File Access V oice Mo de. Select the voice pla ying reco rd mode. Press ’ ’ or ’ ’ to select the recor d file. Press ’ ’ to pla y . 2.3.2 Voice Mode When pla ying reco rded file, y ou can p ress MODE fo r 1 second to access V oice Mo de.
2 Getting sta rted 2.3.3 Phone Bo ok It allo ws y ou to sto re y our p ersonal phone data into the pla yer. Please find the F airy Address p rogram from our p rovided CD ROM driver disk, and click ’Phone- Book_Setup.exe’ under ’PhoneB ook’ folder to install.
2.3 Menu Reco rd Time T o set the time and date fo r reco rd file: Press ’+/-’ to set y ea r/month/da y Press ’ ’ or ’ ’ to change data Press MODE to confirm. Backlight Time T o set the duration of the backlight sta ying on the LCD screen: Press ’ ’ or ’ ’ to adjust Press MODE confirm.
2 Getting sta rted Contrast Setting T o adjust the LCD contrast level (1-20). Online Mo de T o select the pla y er to sho w either Multi Drive, No rmal Drive o r Encrypted Drive in the computer. Note: The pla y er can b e fo rmatted with pa rtitions. Please read the ’Partition and Encr ypt’ section b elo w.
2.3 Menu Click ’Open’ button to select the new firmw are p rogram. (The firmwa re can b e found in the installed CD o r do wnloaded from our w ebsite.) Click ’Begin upgrading’ Button to sta rt for upgrading the system. When finishing the upgrade, the follo wing diagram will b e display ed on the LCD screen: Quit Quit the interface.
2 Getting sta rted During Music mo de o r V oice mo de, y ou can access the folder list b y p ressing MODE fo r 1 second. And y ou can enter folder submenu from there. Use the ’ ’ or ’ ’ to select the desired folder, and p ress MODE to confirm.
2.3 Menu Access the ’Partition and Encrypt’ menu. After in put all the items, click ’start’ . The setting has completed. Click ’OK’ . There a re t w o disks. Op en the second one, which consists of 3 documents. (2 concealed and 1 ca rried on with its size 300K).
2 Getting sta rted 6. Ca rry on the do cument ’RdiskDecry.exe’ , and input t he username and passw o rd. Note: The op eration of dividing one disk into t wo pa rts will delete data. Please sto re them b efore the op eration. Don’t miss y our username and passw o rd.
