BASIC FUNCTIONS BASIC OPERA TION ■ SPEAKER PHONE The speaker phone feature lets you hear audio through the speaker and talk without holding the phone. T o activate the speaker phone in idle, answering or calling modes, press . The phone returns to normal (Speaker Phone Off) after ending a call or when the phone is turned off and back on.

ENTERING LETTERS, NUMBERS & SYMBOLS MEMOR Y FUNCTIONS The input mode (Alpha editor) will automatically be activated when necessary to enter letters and numbers. As shown below , there are 4 available modes ; Standard input mode (Abc), T9W ord input mode (T9Word), Numeric mode (NUM), and symbol mode (Symbols).
ENTERING LETTERS, NUMBERS & SYMBOLS MEMOR Y FUNCTIONS ■ T9WORD INPUT MODE The T9W ord input mode incorporates a built-in-dictionary to determine a word based on the entered characters. A T9W ord can be entered more quickly by pressing a key once per character .
MAKING A CALL FROM THE PHONE BOOK MEMOR Y FUNCTIONS ■ ONE-TOUCH/TWO-TOUCH DIALING Ideal for frequently dialed numbers, this feature allows phone book entries to be dialed via the keypad with only one or two key presses.
