Press and hold in this button for 1.5 sec- onds to hear background noise (unmute the audio); the TX/BUSY indicator will blink green.

When you enable this function, a tone sounds and “ PA ” will appear on the display . The public address can be used even while scanning and receiving a call.
VX-2200 S ERIES O PERA TING M ANUAL 14 HA (H ORN A LER T ) When the Horn Alert feature is enabled, a tone will sound from the speaker if you receive a call (with appropriate DTMF signaling) from the base station. Press (or press and hold) the assigned programmable key to disable the Horn feature.
