Using the LCD Displa y Setting the Timing Mode Settin g the timing mode is importan t for maximizing th e quality of the scre en imag e an d mini mizing e ye strain . Th e timing mode consists of the res o l u ti o n (example 1280 x 10 24) and re fr esh rat e (or vertical fre quency; example 75 H z).
Adjust ing the Scree n Im a g e Use the b uttons on the front control panel to display and adjust the OnV ie w ® controls which d isplay on the screen. The OnV iew co ntrols are e xplained at th e top of th e ne xt page and are def ined in “Main Menu C ontrols” o n page 9 .
Do the f ollowing to adjust the scree n ima ge: 1 T o display the Main Menu, press button [1]. NO TE: All OnV ie w menus and ad justment screens disappear automatically after about 3 0 seconds . 2 T o select a con trol you w ant to adjust, press ▲ or ▼ to scroll u p or do wn the Main Menu.

Color Adjus t pro vi des se ver al color adjus tment m odes: preset color tem peratures and RGB which allo ws you to adjust red ( R ), green ( G ), and b lue ( B ) separately .
Inf ormation displays the timing mode (video si gnal input) coming fr om the graphi cs card in your comp uter . See your graphic card’ s user gu ide for instr uctions on cha nging the resolution and re fresh rate (vertical fr equency).
Scalin g adjusts the video input signal to t he scree n size using the follo wing options. Fill s creen adjusts the video signal to fill the screen. Fill Aspe ct Ratio maintai ns the co rrect vi deo sign al p roport ions for dif ferent resolu tions. 1:1 adjusts th e video signal so that the hei ght and width of the pictur e are t he s ame.
