6 GET TING ST ARTED 2. After a brief installation, the setup software will ask you f or the network name and password from the network information card that is s tore d in t he foo t of you r new B elk in Ro ute r . St ore t he c ard u nde r the base o f your R outer for future reference .

Th e sta tus o f your I nte rne t co nne ct ion i s sh own in t he upper right corner of the rout er homepage.

PPPoE Connec tion Some DSL customers require a PPPoE connection. Select PP PoE this time and press “Next.” If t he se s tep s do no t work , t ry r es ta rt in g your modem and repeating the pro cess.
17 GET TING ST ARTED Enter the username and passw ord supplied b y your Internet provider and click “ Apply Changes. ” Ignore the other fields. The Rout er will restart. If af te r a few mi nu tes yo ur Int ern et St at us say s “Connected, ” you’ re done! Y ou can surf the Internet.
