Use the minimum recommended i nstallat ion clearances (fou nd in you r Installation Instructions) to av oid blocking the flow of combustion and ve ntilat ion ai r .
7 USING YOUR DRYER Starting Y our Dryer Befo re using your dryer , wipe the dryer d rum wit h a da mp clo th to re move dust from storing and shipping. Th e following steps provide an overvi ew for operatin g you r dryer . Specifi c directions for each step are provided in th e followin g sections.

Sort l int giv ers (t owels, chenille) fr om lint t akers (c ordur oy , synth etics ). Also s ort by color . ■ Is the load too bi g or too h eavy? Dry smaller load s so lint can be carried to th e l int screen.
