5 ■ Keep Oven V ent Ducts Unobstructed. ■ Placement of Oven Racks – Always place oven racks in desired location while oven is cool. If rack must be moved while oven is hot, do not let potholder contact hot heating element in oven.

7 COOKTOP USE Cooktop Controls The c o ntr ol knobs can be set anywhere between HI and LO. P ush in and t ur n to setting . Use the following c hart as a guide when setting heat levels. A C CUS IMMER ™ F eat ure (on some models) The ACCUSIMMER ™ f eature se tting is an adjust able heat setting for m ore precise simmerin g.
8 To U s e D U A L : 1. Push in and turn th e left fro nt contr ol knob clockwise fr om the OFF po sition to the DUA L zone anyw here bet ween HI and LO. 2. Push in and turn knob to OFF when finished. Keep W arm Element Use the K eep W arm Ele ment to keep c ooked foods warm.

10 Home C anning When cann ing for long p eriods, alternate the use o f surface cooking areas, elements or surface bu r ners between batches. This allows time for the most r ecently used ar eas to coo l. ■ Center the canner on the grat e or lar gest surface c ooking ar ea or element.
11 ELECTRONIC OVEN CONTROL Dis play When power is f irst su pplied to the ap pliance, “ PF ” will appear o n the display . Pr ess OFF/CANCEL to clear . Any oth er time “ PF ” appears, a power failure h as occur red . Pre ss OFF/CANCEL and r eset the Clock if needed.
12 Ti m e r The Tim er can be set in hours or min utes up to 12 h ours and 59 minutes , and coun ts down the set time. The Timer does no t start or s top t he o ven . To S e t : 1. Press TI MER SE T . If no action is taken after 5 mi nutes, the display will r etur n to the ti me o f da y mo d e.
13 BAKEWAR E T o cook food evenly , ho t air must be able to circ ulate. Allow 2 in. (5 cm) o f space ar ound bakewar e and oven walls. Use the following chart as a guide.
