3 RANGE SAFETY The Anti-Tip Br acket The range will not tip during normal use. However , the range can ti p if you appl y too much force or weight to the open d oor wit hou t the anti-tip bracket fastened down p roperly . You can be killed or seriously injured if you don't immediately follow instructions.

5 ■ Keep Oven V ent Ducts Unobstructed. ■ Placement of Oven Racks – Always place oven racks in desired location while oven is cool. If rack must be moved while oven is hot, do not let potholder contact hot heating element in oven.

8 T o Use SINGLE: 1. Push in an d tur n the left front control knob count erclockwise from the OFF position to the SINGLE zone anywhere between HI and LO.
9 Hot Surface Indicator Light ( under ceramic glass) The hot surface indic ator light will glow as lon g as any surface cooking area is too hot to touch , even after the s urface cooking area(s) is tur ned off. Coil Ele ments and Burner Bowls (on som e mode ls) Coil elements should be level for optimal cooking r e sults.

13 Meat Thermomete r On models wit hout a temperatu re probe, always rely on a meat thermometer to determine donenes s of meat and poultry . The inter nal temperat ure, not appearance, is wha t counts. A meat thermometer is not sup plied with this appli ance.
14 To U s e : 1. Press CHOICE BAKE ® function. Press the TEMP “ up ” or “ down ” a rrow pad to se t a temperatu r e other that 3 50 ° F (175 ° C) in 5 de gr e e amounts. The bake range can be s et between 170 ° F and 500 ° F (75 ° C and 260 ° C).
15 Wa r m H o l d Fe a t u r e (on som e mode ls) IMPORT AN T : Food must be at serving temperature before placing it in the warmed ov en. Food may be h eld up to one hou r , however b r eads and casseroles may become t oo dry if le ft in t he oven during W arm Hold.
16 Style 2 Series Electronic Oven Control (see “ Electronic Oven Contr o ls ” sec tion) T o Set a Timed Co ok: 1. Pr ess BAKE . The bake indic ator light w ill light up. 2. Set th e temperat ure (op tional). 3. Press the TEMP/TIME “ up ” or “ dow n ” arrow pad to ent er a temperatu r e other than th e one displayed.
17 T o Mod ify Sequence Programming : 1. Press UNDO. The last step of the sequen ce will be can celed, and the step prior to the cance led sequence wil l show on the display for either review or modificat ion.
18 RANGE CARE Self-Cle aning Cyc le (on som e mode ls) IMPORT AN T : The health of some birds is extremely sensi tive to the fumes give n off during the Sel f-Cleaning cyc le. Exposure to the fume s may result in death to certain birds. Alway s move birds to another closed an d well ventilated r oom.
19 T o Delay Start Self- Clean (on some models): Befo re de lay startin g Self-Clea n, make s ure t he clock is se t to the correct time of day . See “ Clock ” sect ion. Also, m a ke sur e the door is closed completely or it will not l ock and the cy cle will n ot begin.
20 CONTROL P ANEL Do not use ab rasive cleaners , steel- wool pads, gritty washcloth s or some paper towe ls. Damage may occur . ■ Glass cleaner an d soft cloth or sp onge: Apply glass cleaner to soft cloth or sp onge, not directly on panel. COIL ELEMENT S (on some models) Do not clean or imme rse in water .
21 Oven Door For normal range use, it is not s uggested to remove t he oven door . How ever , if neces sary , follow these inst ructions. The oven door is heavy . Before Removing : 1. Use a putty knif e or screwdriver and in sert it at th e bottom corner of th e door stop clip.
22 T o Replace: 1. Align t he drawer glide s with the receiv ing guides. 2. Push drawer i n all the w ay . 3. Gently open and cl ose the drawer t o ensure it is seated properly on the sli des.
