3 RANGE SAFETY The Anti -T ip Bracket The range will no t tip during normal use. However , the range c an tip if yo u apply too much for ce or weight to the open d oor wit hou t th e anti-tip bracket fastened down p roperly . You can be killed or seriously injured if you don't immediately follow instructions.

5 ■ Keep Oven V ent Ducts Unobstructed. ■ Placement of Oven Racks – Always place oven racks in desired location while oven is cool. If rack must be moved while oven is hot, do not let potholder contact hot heating element in oven.

7 COOKTOP USE Cooktop Controls Contro l knobs mus t be pu shed in b efor e turning them t o a setting. The controls can be set any where between HI and LO.
8 HOT Surfac e Indicat or Lights ■ Four HOT surface indicator lights. The HOT surface i ndicator light s on the cooktop s urface will gl ow when their correspondin g surface element s are turned on. The HOT surface indi cator lights wi ll continue to glow as long as the elements are too hot to to uch, even after t hey are turned of f.
9 ELECTRONIC OVEN CONTROL Display When power is first sup plied to the appliance, everythi ng on the displa y will l ight up for 1 to 2 seco nds, then the tim e of day an d “ PF ” will appe ar . Press OFF/CANCEL to clear “ PF ” from the displa y .
10 3. Press ST ART . If not pr essed wi thin 5 seconds , the displa y will r eturn to the time of day mode an d the progra mmed func tion w ill be canceled. When the set tim e ends, en d-of-cy cle to nes will soun d, then , if on, r eminder tones wi ll sou nd every minute.
11 BAKEWARE T o cook food evenly , hot air must b e able to circulate. Allow 2 ” (5 cm) of space a round bakeware and oven walls. Use t he following chart as a guid e. Bakeware The bakeware mat erial affects cooking r esults. Follow manufact urer ’ s recommendations and use t he bakeware size recommended in the recipe.
12 Custom Broil The top element operates at full power w hen heating. Use thi s setting for norma l br oiling and top brow ning with the door open in the Broil Stop po sition. ■ Use on ly the br oile r pan an d grid p ro vided with t he app liance .
13 Convection Baking and Roasting During convecti on baking or roasting, th e bake and broil elements cycle on and off in in tervals to main tain the ove n temperature, whi le the fan con stantly circulates t he hot air .
14 T imed Cooking Timed Cooking allows the oven to b e set to turn on at a certain time of day , cook for a se t length of time, and/or shu t off automatical ly . Delay st art should not b e used for food such as breads and cakes bec ause they may n ot bake properly .
15 Prepare Oven: ■ Remove t he br oiler pan , grid, cookwar e and bakewar e and , on some models, the t emperature pr obe from the oven. ■ Remove any foil from the oven be cause it may bu rn or melt, damaging the oven. ■ Remove oven racks t o keep them shin y and easy to slide.
16 CERAMIC GLASS (on s ome models) Do not u se steel wool, abras ive powde r cleansers, chlorine bleach, rust remover or ammonia because damage may occur . Always wipe wi th a clean, wet cloth or sponge and d ry thorough ly to prevent streaking and sta ining.
17 Oven Light (on some models ) The oven light is a standard 15-wa tt applian ce bulb. It wil l come on when the oven door is open. It w ill not work during the Self- Cleaning cycle (on some models). On some models, wh en the oven door is closed, pres s OVEN LIGHT to turn it on or of f.
18 TROUBLESHOOTING T ry the solutions suggested here first in order to avoid the cost of an unnecessary service call. Nothing will operate ■ Is the power supply cor d unplugged? Plug into a gr ounded outlet. ■ Has a household fuse blown or has the cir cuit breaker tripped? Replace the fuse or reset the ci rcuit.
