Dual Cookin g Zone (on some mode ls) The Dual Cooking Zone of fers flexibility depending on the size of the cookwa re.
9 The W arm Zone element area will not gl ow r ed when cycling on. However , its ind i cator light will glow as long as t h e W arm Zone element area is too hot to tou ch. ■ Use only cookware and dishes recommende d for oven and cooktop use. ■ Cover all food s with a li d or aluminum foil.

13 Style 4 - Electronic Oven Contr o l (on some model s ) Disp lay Style 1 - Elect ronic Oven Control When powe r is first suppli e d t o the app liance, “1 2:00 PM” will appear on the di splay . See “Clock ” section to set time of day . If “12:00 PM” appears at any ot her time, a power failure has occurred.
14 Style 2 - Elect ronic Oven Control Reminder T ones: Reminder t ones may b e turned off. O n some models, pr ess and hold TIMER SET for 5 seconds. “ rEP OFF” or “OFF” wil l appear in the display . Repeat t o turn r e minder tones back on, an d “rEP ON” or “ON” will appear i n the display .
15 T o Ad just Oven T empe rature Calibrat ion: Style 1 - Elect ronic Oven Control 1. Press and hold OVEN LIGHT for 3 seconds unt il the oven displa y shows the current cali bration.
16 Split Oven R ack (on some mode ls) Split-Rack wit h Removab le Insert The split-rack with removable insert is a spa ce maximizer . When the two are attached, th ey make a full rack. The insert can also be removed to provide room for lar ge items su ch as a turkey and casse roles .
17 Oven V ent The oven vent releases h ot air and moistu re fr om t he oven, and should not be blocked or cover ed. Blocking or covering the vent will cause poor ai r circulation, affectin g cooking and cleanin g results. Do not set plast ics, paper or oth er items that could melt or burn near the oven vent.
18 Broil ing Broiling uses dir ect radiant heat to cook food. Changing the temperature when Cu stom Broiling allows more pr ecise cont rol when cooking. The lower th e temperature, the slower the cooking. Thicker cut s and unevenly shaped piece s of meat, fish and poultry may cook better at lower broiling te mperatures.
19 Convection C ooking (St yles 1 & 3 - Ele ctro nic Oven C ontrol) During convecti on cooking, th e fan provides increased h ot air cir culation con tinuously and mor e con sistently thro ughout the oven. The movement of heat ed air around the food helps t o speed up cooking by pene trating the cooler outer surfaces .
20 Style 3 - Con vection Baki ng and Roastin g (on some models) The convection feature is ideal for single rack baking and r oasting. If us ing more than one ra c k, move pans from top to bottom shelf halfway throu gh cooki ng.
21 Style 1 - Elect ronic Oven Control To U s e : 1. Press WARM. 2. T emperature is preset at 170° (75°C ) for 60 minutes. Press t he TEMP “up” or “down” arr ow pad to raise or lower the tempera ture in 5°F (5°C) amounts to se t a temperature other tha n 170°F (75° C).
22 Style 2 - Elect ronic Oven Control T o Set a Timed Co ok: 1. Press desir ed cook function (optional). 2. Press t he TEMP “up” or “down” arr ow pads to enter a temperatu r e other than th e one displayed. 3. Press STOP TIME. 4. Press the HR and MIN “u p” or “down” arrow pads to enter the desired time to end cooking.
23 T o Pr ogram Steps 2, 3 and 4 of the Sequence: 1. Press ADD STEP . “SELECT COOK OP TION” will appear on the display . 2. Choose a desired cook function by pr essing any cook function key . For example, BROIL . 3. Selec t a desired temperat ure (optional ).
24 RANGE CARE Self-C leaning Cycle (on some m o dels) ) IMPORT AN T : The health of some birds is extremely sensi tive to the fumes give n off during the Sel f-Cleaning cyc le. Expos ure to the fume s may result in death to certain birds. Alway s move birds to another clos ed and well-venti lated room.
25 T o Self-Clean: Before self-clean ing, make su r e the door is closed compl etely or it will not lock and the cycl e will not begin. Style 1 - Elect ronic Oven Control 1. Press PR ECISE C LEAN. 2. Press ST ART . The oven door will automati cally lock and DOOR LOCKED will be disp layed.
26 T o Stop S elf-Clean anytime: If the clea n function is terminated wh ile the oven cav ity temperature is greater than 50 0ºF (260ºC), th e oven door will remain la tched unti l the oven cav ity te mperature is below this thresho ld. Style 1 - Elect ronic Oven Control Press OFF/CANCEL.

28 Ove n Li ght The oven light is a standard 40-wa tt applian ce bulb. It wil l come on when the oven door i s open. When the oven door is closed, pre ss LIGHT to t u rn it on or of f. It will not work during t he Self- Cleaning c ycle. T o rep l ace: 1.
29 Wa r m i n g D r a w e r (on some models ) Remove all items from inside the warming drawer , and allow the uni t to cool completely b efore attempting to remove the dra wer . To R e m o v e : 1. Open drawer to it s fully open position. 2. Locate the black triangl e-shap ed tabs o n both sides of the drawer .
