Refrigerator Safety Your safety is important to us. This guide contains statements under warning symbols. Please pay special attention to these symbols and follow any instructions given. Before Using Your Refrigerator It is important to prepare your refrigerator for use. This section tells you how to clean it, connect it to a power source, install it, and level it.
Plugging it in Fire Hazard Do not use an extension cord. Doing so can result in death, fire, or electrical shock. Recommended Grounding Method A 115 Volt, 60 Hz., AC only 15 or 20 ampere fused and properly grounded electrical supply is required. It is recommended that a separate circuit serving only this appliance be provided.
Leveling it Make sure the refrigerator is level for efficient operation. To level refrigerator: 1. Keep the 4 bolts that held the refrigerator in the shipping crate. They are the leveling legs. 2. Screw these bolts all the way into the bolt holes on the bottom corners of the refrigerator.
