3 RANGE SAFETY The Anti-T ip Brac k e t The range will not tip during normal us e. However , the range can tip if you ap ply too much for ce or weight t o the open door without the anti-tip br acket fastened down pr operly . You can be killed or seriously injured if you don't immediately follow instructions.

5 ■ Keep Oven V ent Ducts Unobstructed. ■ Placement of Oven Racks – Always place oven racks in desired location while oven is cool. If rack must be moved while oven is hot, do not let potholder contact hot heating element in oven.

7 COOKTOP USE Contr ol Knob s The control knob s can be se t anywhe r e between HI and LO. P ush in and turn to setting. The surface cooking area locator shows which ele ment is tur ned on. Use the foll owing chart as a guide when se tting heat l evels.
8 Home Cannin g When canni n g for long p eriods, alter nate the use of surface cooking areas, element s or surface burner s between batches. This allows time for the surrou nding areas to cool. ■ Center the can ner on the grate or largest surface cooki ng area or element.
9 O V EN USE Electr onic Cloc k/Timer (on some models) Display When pow er is first suppl i ed to t he appliance, everything on th e displa y will lig ht up for 5 seco nds. Then, th e time of day an d “PF” will appear on the d i splay . Any other time “PF” appears, a power failure occurred.

Pull ov en tem perat ur e contr ol k nob s traig ht of f and tur n it over . 2. Loosen the loc king screws inside the ov en temperature control knob.
11 Bak ew are The bakeware material af fects cooking results. Follow manufacturer’ s recommendatio ns and use the bakeware size recommended in the recipe. Use the following ch art as a guide. 12 T o Broil: 1. Push i n and tu rn oven contr ol knob to BR OIL. On some models, se t the oven selec tor and oven temperature contr ol knob to BROI L. The OVEN ON indicator l ight wi ll turn on. 2. After b roil ing, tu r n the o ven contr ol kno b to OFF .
