6 Sensor Cooking The microwave system features the 6th SENSE™ cooking system . A humi dity senso r in the oven cavit y detec ts moistu re and humidi ty emitted from food as i t heats. The sen sor adjusts cooking times to various ty pes and amounts of food.
7 MICROWAVE OVEN CONTROL Disp lay When power is firs t supplied to t he microwave oven, a “:” will blink on the displ ay . T ouch CANCEL to stop the bl inking . If the “:” blinks on th e displa y at any other t ime, a power fail ure has occurred.

9 MICROWA VE OVEN USE A magnetron in the ov en produces microwaves which reflect off the metal floor , w alls and cei ling and pass through th e turn table and appropriate cookware to the food.
10 Cookware an d Dinnerware Cookware and dinnerware must fi t on the tur ntabl e. Always us e oven mitts or pot holders when ha ndling becau se any di sh may become hot from heat transf erred from the food. Do not use cookwar e and dinnerwar e with gold or silver trim.

16 MICROWAVE OVEN CAR E Gen eral Cl eaning IMPORT AN T : Before cleaning, make sure all controls are off and the ov en is cool. A lways f ollow label instru ction s on cle aning products. Soap, wat er and a sof t cloth or sponge are suggested first unless otherwise noted.
17 Replacing F ilters The grease filters should be removed and cleaned at least once a month. Do not opera te the oven without th e filters in plac e. The charcoal filte rs cannot be washed an d should be repl aced ever y 6 to 12 month s. See “Assis tance or Ser vice” to reorder filte rs.
