5 Electrical R equirements Observe all gover ning cod es and ordinances. A 120 V olt, 60 Hz, AC only , 15- or 20-amp fused e lectric al supply i s r equired. ( A time -delay fus e or cir cuit br eaker is re commen ded .) It is recommended that a sepa rate circuit serv ing only this appliance be provided.
6 T o Install: 1. Remove tap e from the hub. 2. Place th e support on the oven cavity b ottom. 3. Place th e turn table on the support. Fit the raise d, curved li nes in the ce nter of the tur ntable bottom betwee n the three spokes of the hub. The rollers on the s upport sh ould f it in side th e turntable bottom ridg e.
7 Progress Bar The progress bar is a visual pi cture of the estimate d running time of a cooking cycle . It will app ear during all cook cy cles exce pt W arm Hold. The lines in each of the segments will ligh t from left to right as th e time nears the e nd.
8 To S e t : 1. T ouch TIMER SET/OFF . If no action is ta ken after one minute , the display wil l return to the time of day mode. 2. T ouch the numbe r pads to se t the length of time. 3. 9 F ood Characteristics When microwave cooking, the amount, s ize and shape, start ing temperature, composi tion and density of the food affect cooking results. Amoun t of Fo od The more food heated at once the longer the cook ti me. Check for doneness and add small increments of time if ne cessary .
10 Alumin um F oil and Met al Always use oven m itts or po t holde rs wh en remov ing d ishes from the microwave oven. Aluminu m foil and some met a l can b e used in the oven. If n ot used properly , arcing ( a blue flash of lig ht) can occur and cause damage to the oven .
