9 ■ Load plas tic items so th e force of the spray does not move them during t he cycle. ■ T o avoi d chipping, do not let st emware touch other items. ■ Small bowls , pans, and oth er utensil s can be placed in the top rack. Load bow ls in the cent er section for b est stabil ity .
10 Loading Bott om Rack The bottom rack is designed for plate s, pans, casse roles, and utensil s. Many it ems, up to 1 3" (33 cm) ta ll, fit i n the b ottom rack. (See recommended loadin g patter ns shown.) NOTE : The features on you r dishwasher rack may va ry from the drawings shown.

14 Rin se Ai d D ispe ns er IMPORTANT: Y our di shwasher i s designed to u se a liquid rinse aid. The use of ri nse aids g reatly improves dryin g by allowi ng water to drain from the dishes after the fi nal rinse. The y also prevent w ater from forming dr oplets that can dry as spots or streaks.
15 ■ Use a low energy , quick, or short cyc le whenever po ssible. These cycles u se less hot wate r and energy than a normal cy cle. ■ Use a delay feature (on some mod els) to run y our dishwa sher during of f-peak h ours. Local utilities r ecommend avoiding heavy usage of energy at certai n times of day .

17 Soak & Scou r Select th is option to pre -soak you r dishes for 4 hours in y our dishwash er instead of pre-so aking them in the sink. When you select Soa k & Scour , the dishw asher fills an d then sprays for 8 minute s. It will then pau se for 16 minut es while d ishes soak, and then sp ray for 90 seconds to keep d ishes wet.
18 Models with a dual-digit display ■ Y ou can de lay th e start of a cycle up to 9 hours. ■ The first time you use Delay , you will see showing a 1-hour delay . ■ After the fi rst time that you u se Delay , the control will start by callin g up the last delay tha t you ran.

20 DISHWA SHER CARE Cle aning Cleaning the exterior In most case s, regular use of a soft, d amp cloth or s ponge and a mild d eter gent is all that is nece ssary to keep the ou tside of you r dishwash er looking nice and cl ean. If yo ur dishwas her has a stainles s steel exterior , a stainless stee l cleaner is recommended.
