8 DISHW ASHER USE Detergent D ispenser The dete r gent di spenser has two sect ions. The s maller Pre-Wash sect ion em ptie s dete r gent into the d ishwa sher when you cl ose the door . The la rg er Main Wash sectio n automatica lly empti es detergent into t he dishwash er during the w ash.
9 Rinse Aid Dispenser IMPORTANT: Y our di shwasher i s designed to u se a liquid rinse aid. The use of rin se aids g reatly improves drying by allowi ng water to drain from the dishes after the fina l rinse. They al so prevent w ater from forming dr oplets that can dry as spots or streaks.
10 Cy c le Selectio n Charts Selec t the wash cycl e and options desired and press ST ART/ RESUME. Th e dishwasher st arts filli ng once you press ST ART/ RESUME, u nless yo u selec t a dela y wash. Y ou can chan ge cycles and opt ions as the mac hine is fillin g.
11 Canceling a Cyc le Anytime during a cyc le, press CANCEL/DRA IN. Y ou r dishwasher starts a 2-min ute drain, if n eeded, and cl ears all ind icators. Let the dis hwasher drain compl etely . NOTE : If your d ishwasher does no t need dra ining, th e dishwash er stops an d clears all in dicators.
12 Lock Use the lock t o prevent unint ended use of th e dishwash er . Y ou can also use t he lock feature to prevent unint ended cycle or option changes du ring a cycle. When the loc k is lit, all buttons are disa bled. NOTE S: ■ The dishwash er door can be opened whil e the controls are lo cked .

14 DISHW ASHER CARE Cleaning Cleaning the exterior In most case s, regular use of a soft, d amp cloth or s ponge and a mild d eter gent is all that is ne cessa ry to keep t he ou tside of you r dishwash er looking nice and cl ean. If yo ur dishwasher h as a stainles s steel exterior , a stain less steel cl eaner is recommended.
