3 RANGE SAFETY The Anti -Tip Brac k et The range will not tip during normal use. How ever , the range c an tip if you apply t oo much force or weight to the open door wit hout t he anti-tip bracket fas tened down p r operly . You can be killed or seriously injured if you don't immediately follow instructions.

5 ■ Keep Oven V ent Ducts Unobstructed. ■ Placement of Oven Racks – Always place oven racks in desired location while oven is cool. If rack must be moved while oven is hot, do not let potholder contact hot heating element in oven.

7 COOKTOP USE Cooktop Controls The control knobs can be set any wher e between HI and LO. Pus h in and turn to setting. The surface cooking ar ea locator shows whic h el em ent i s t urned on. Use the follow ing chart as a guide when setting heat leve ls.
8 Hot Surface Indicator Light (under ceramic glass) The hot surface indic ator light will glow as long as any surface cooking area is too hot to touch , even after th e surface cooking area(s) is tur ned of f. Home Cannin g When canning for l on g periods, alternate the use of su rface cooking areas, elements or su rface burners bet ween batches.
9 ELECTR ONIC OV EN CONTR OL Ov en Indicator Light s The indicat or lights are located to the le ft of, and wi thin the display . The indicator lights light up or flash when t he oven is in one of the following mode s: BAKE, BR OIL, ST ART?, ON, TIMER, COOK TIME/TIMED cooking (on some models), and ST ART TIME/DELA Y cooki ng (on some models).
10 Ov en T emperature Con tr ol IMPORT AN T : Do not use a thermometer to measur e oven temperature becau se opening the oven do o r and eleme n t or burn er cycling may give incorrect readings.
11 Ov en V ent 1. Oven Vent The oven vent releases h ot air and moisture from the oven, and should not be blocked or cover ed. Doing so wi ll cause poor air circulation, affectin g cooking and cleaning results . Never set plastics, paper or other items that could melt or burn n ear the oven vent.
12 T o Broil: 1. Press CUSTOM BROIL. Th e “ BROIL ” indicator an d “ TEMP ” arro w will l ight up. “ 500 ” wil l show on t he oven di splay . 2. Press S T ART/ENTER. The On indicator lights wil l light up. The temperature setting can be changed any time before or after press ing ST ART/ENTER.

14 ST AINLESS STEEL (on some models) Do not use soap-fil led scouring pads, abrasiv e cleaners, Cooktop Polishing Cr eme, steel -wool pads, gritty washcloths or some paper towels.
15 Oven Light The oven light is a standard 40-watt app l iance bu lb. It will come on when the oven door is open. It w ill not work during t he Self- Cleaning cy cle. On some models, wh en the ove n door is cl osed, press OV EN LIGHT to turn it on or off.
