Y ou will fi nd important safety in formation and useful operating tips. Using Y our New Dishw asher 1. Scrape lar ge food soil and har d items (toothpicks or b ones) from dishes.
7 Loading T op Rack The top rack is designed for cups , glasses , and s maller i tems. (See recommended loadin g patter ns shown.) NOTE : The features on your dishwasher rack may va ry from the drawings shown. Do not cover thi rd level spra y . See arrow .

9 Rinse Ai d Dispenser Rinse aids prevent water from forming d roplets th at can d ry as spot s or st r eaks. The y al so imp r ove d rying by a llow ing wa ter to drain off of the dishes d uring the final rinse by releasing a sm all amount of the rin se aid into t he rinse wat er .
10 Cy cle Se lectio n Charts Press the desi red cycle. T ur n the Cycle Control knob to the desired cycl e. If the door is l atched, y ou will hear the cy cles st art and stop as th e Cycle Control knob passes ea ch cycle mark. This is normal and do es not hurt the dish washer .
11 Chang ing a Cy c le or Setting If your dish washer has more than one wash cycle, you can change a cycle an ytime du ring a cycle. 1. Lift the door l atch to stop th e cycle. 2. T ur n the Cycle Con trol knob clockwise. 3. Check the de ter gent dispe nsers.
12 Dr ying System During dryi ng, you can see ste am escaping through t he vent at the upper lef t corner of the door . This is norma l as the heat dr ies your di shes.
13 DISHW ASHER CARE Cleani ng Cleaning the exterior In most case s, regular use of a soft, d amp cloth or s ponge and a mild d eter gent is all that is n eces sary to ke ep t he ou tside of you r dishwash er looking nice and cl ean.
14 ■ Odor in the dishwasher Are dishes wa shed only eve ry 2 or 3 days? Run a rinse cycle once or twice a day until you hav e a full load. Does the dishwas her have a new p lastic smell? Run a vinegar rinse as descri bed in “ Spottin g and fi lming on dishes ” later in this T roubleshooting guide.
15 Dishes do not dry co mpletely ■ Dishes are not dry Did you load you r dish wash er to all ow pr oper wa ter drainage? Do no t overload. Refe r to the “Dishwas her Loading” sect ion. Use a liquid ri nse aid to speed dry ing. Are the plast ics wet? Pl astics ofte n need to wel drying.
