7 Loading T o p Rac k The top rack is designed for cups , glasses , and s maller i tems. Many it ems, up to 9" (2 2 cm), fit in the top rack. (S ee recommended loading pat tern s shown.) NOTE : The features on your dishwasher rack may va ry from the drawings shown.

Do no t nest bowls because t he spray will no t reach all surfaces. ■ Load cookie sh eets, cake pans, and other large items at th e sides and bac k.
9 DISHW ASHER USE Detergent D ispenser The dete r gent di spenser has two sect ions. The s maller Pre-Wash sect ion em pt ies de ter ge nt in to the dish wash er when you close the door . The la rg er Main Wash sectio n automatica lly empti es detergent into t he dishwash er during the w ash.
10 Rinse Ai d Dispense r IMPORTANT: Y our dish washer is desi gned to use a liqui d rinse aid. Th e use of rinse aids greatly improves drying by allowing wate r to drain from the dishes aft er the final rins e. They also keep water from forming droplets that can dry as spots or streaks.
11 Dishw asher Eff i cienc y Tips Hot wat er diss olves a nd acti vates th e dishw ashin g detergent. Hot water als o dissolv es grease on dishes and h elps glasses dry spot-f ree. For be st dish wash ing result s, wat er shoul d be 12 0°F (49°C) as it enters the dish washer .
12 Canceling a Cyc le Anytime during a cyc le, press CANCEL/DRA IN. Y our dish washer starts a 2-min ute drain, if n eeded, and cl ears all ind icators. Let the dis hwasher drain compl etely . NOTE : If your d ishwashe r does n ot need dra inin g, the dishwash er stops an d clears all in dicators.
13 Delay start Sele ct this option to run you r dish washer at a l ater ti me or d uring off-peak hours. Y ou can add i tems to t he load an ytime du ring the delay count down. After ad ding items, cl ose the door firmly until it latche s. The d elay coun tdown w ill not c ontinue if the door is not latc hed.
14 W ASHING SPECIAL ITEM S If you have doubts about washing a partic ular item, check w ith the manufactu r er to se e if it is dishwas her safe. Material Dishwasher Safe?/Comments Alumi num Ye s High water temp erature and detergents can affect finish of an odized alumin um.
15 DISHW ASHER CAR E Cleaning Cleaning the exterior In most case s, regular use of a soft, d amp cloth or s ponge and a mild d eter gent is all that is n eces sary to keep the o utside of your dishwash er looking nice and cl ean. If yo ur dishwasher h as a stainles s steel exterior , a stain less steel cl eaner is recommended.
