5 COOKTOP USE The contr ol knobs can be set to anyw her e between HI and LO. Push in and turn to setting. Ceramic Glass The surface cooking area will glow r ed when an element is on. It may cycle on and off to maintain the selected heat level. Use cookwa re about the same size as the surface cooking ar ea.
6 W a rm Zone El ement (on some models) Use the W arm Zone element to keep cooked foo ds warm. One hour is the recommended ma ximum time to mainitain food quality . Do not use it to heat cold foods. The W arm Zone elemen t can be used alone or when any of the other surface cooking ar eas are being used.
7 P osit ioning Racks and Bakeware IMPOR T ANT : T o avoid perman ent damage to the porcelain finish, do not place food or bakewar e di r ectly on the oven door or bottom . Bakeware T o cook food evenly , hot air must be able to circulate . Allow 2" (5 cm) of space around bakewar e and oven walls.
8 Conve cti on Bak ing a nd Roas ting During convectio n baking o r roasti ng, the bake an d broil elements or burners cycle on and o ff in intervals to maintain the o ven temperature, while the fan circ ulates the hot air . If the oven door is op ened durin g con vection ba king o r roasting, the fan will turn of f immediately .
9 Electr onic Oven Control with Adjustable Clean Time (on some models) The SELF CLEAN self-cleaning cycle is time adjustable between 2 hours 30 minute s and 4 ho urs 30 m inutes in 15 -minute increments. Suggested clean times are 2 hours 30 minutes for light soil, and 4 hours 30 minutes for heavy soil.
