Visible bubbling or boiling when the container is removed from the microwave oven is not always present.
5 INSTALLATION INSTRUCTION S Unpacking 1. Empty the mic rowave oven of any packin g materials. 2. Clean the inside wit h a soft, damp cl oth. 3. Check for damage, such as: ■ a door that is not lined up correctly ■ damage around the door , or ■ dents on the interior or ext erior of the microwave oven.

7 Dis play When power is first supplie d to the microwave oven, “0:00” wil l appear in the display . If the “0:00” appears in th e displa y at any other time, a power fa ilure has occurred. Reset th e clock if needed. See “Clock.” When the microwave oven is in use, the disp lay will show cook time remaining.
8 MICROWAVE OVEN USE A magnetron in the microwave oven produces microwaves whic h reflect off the metal floor , walls and ceiling and pass through the turn table and ap propriate cookware to the food.
9 T o T est Cookware or Dinner ware for Micr owave Use: 1. Place cookware or dinnerware in microwave oven with 1 cup (250 mL) of water beside it. 2. Cook at 100% cooking p ower for 1 minute. Do not use cookware or dinnerwar e if it becom es hot and the wate r sta ys co ol.

11 Menu (sensor and non-sensor) The following menu items are pr eprogrammed for quick and easy cooking/reheating. For added conve nience, the av ailable/recommend ed amounts shown in the followin g chart are included on th e Cooking Guide lab el (see “Parts and Features” for its locati on).
12 W eigh t Defrost / Timed Defr ost The W eigh t Defrost feature’ s preset programs can be u sed, the Time d Defrost feature can be used, or the microwave oven can be manua lly set to defros t. ■ Unwrap foods and remove lids (for example, from fruit juice conta iners) befor e defr osting.
