Operat ion 34 Securing the projecto r U sing a securit y cable lock The pr ojector has to be installed in a safe place to prev ent theft. Otherwise, purcha se a lock, such as the K ensington l ock, to secure the projector. Y ou can locate a K ensington loc k slot on the rear side of the projector .
Operation 35 six-digit passwor d, or if you did not r ecord the pa ssword in this manual, a nd you absolutely do not r emember it, y ou can use th e passwor d recall p rocedur e. See "Entering the passw ord recall p rocedu re" on page 35 for details.

Operation 43 Setting the presentation timer The presentation timer can indicate the presenta tio n time on the screen to help you ac hieve better tim e management when giv ing presentations.
Operat ion 44 Connect the projector to y our PC or notebook w ith a USB cable prior to using the paging function. See "Connecting a c omputer" on page 23 for details.

Operat ion 52 The Crestron page is only available when you are on a W ired LAN network. It also allo ws you t o control the pr ojector remote ly . The Crestron supports RoomV iew version 6.2.2.9. i. These buttons function the sa me as the ones on the OSD m enus or remote contr ol.
Operation 53 The tools page a llows you t o manage the pr oj ector , configur e the LAN co ntrol settings and secure access of remote network operation on this projector . i. Y ou can name the projector, keep track of its location and the person in charge of it.
Operat ion 54 The info page displays the informat ion and status of this projecto r . i. Pr ess exit to go back to the Crestr on remote netw ork operation page. The Admi n page allows y ou to enter Basic, W i red LAN, W ireless LAN and M ail pages once the passwor d is entered.
Operation 55 The Basic page allo ws you to c hange the passwor d and select connect ed persons. The number of connected persons may affect the network display performance.
Operat ion 56 The Wireless LAN page allows y ou to adjust the W irless LAN setting s. Max. length for SSID string is 16 bytes. Pl ease use a different SSID when more than two projectors are connecting through wireless LAN. The Mail page allows y ou to send ale rt e-mail to y our ITS administrat or .
Operation 57 Displaying image through Q Pr esenter The Q Presenter is an application r unning on the ho st PC. It connects to an available network display and transfers the desktop conten ts to the netw ork display via local netw ork con ne ct ion . Be sure to turn off other virtual network control programs before using Q Presenter.
Operat ion 58 ii. Projectors linked in the LAN will be found. Then sele ct the projector you want to link. iii. Click “ Connect” . Then y ou should be able to see the image on projector . iv . Y ou can click to disconnect all connected projectors.

Operation 67 H ow to hold the P ointDr a w TM pen Yo u c a n h o l d t h e P o i n t D r a w TM the way y ou would hol d a normal pencil or pen, or y ou can hold it lik e a remote control - use in whichever position is most comfortable. If the PointDraw TM pe n is far away from the scr een, be sure to press the left mouse button to click an d drag.
