5 6 A dditional Safety Pr ecautions 1 Do not use the Fry er without oil. The Fry er will be se ver ely damaged if heated dry . Only use liquid oil in your Deep Fry er . Ne ver use solid fat or short ening, as this will cause your Deep Fry er to ov erheat, or possibly start a fir e.

Y our Drain T ap Cap should alway s be in place when using y our deep fry er or when storing oil in the tank ( see figure 1). T he follo wing directions outline the use of the Dr ain T ap.
