Gently attempt to pull th em back apart to check that they ha ve pr operly engaged. Car efully lift the monitor , turn it ov er and place it upright on its stand on a flat ev en surface .
11 How to assemble your mon itor hardware 2. Connect the PC video cable Do not use both D VI-D cable and D-Sub cable on the same PC . The onl y case in which both cables can be used is if they are connected to two diff er ent PCs with appr opriate video systems.

13 How to assemble your mon itor hardware 5. Connect the S Switch to the monitor . Connect the S Switch to the S Switch sock et found on the back of the monitor . And place the S Switch next to your monitor base. Y ou can place the S Switch eit her on the left or on the right of the monitor base.

15 How to assemble your mon itor hardware How to detach the stand and the base 1. Prepar e the monitor and ar ea. T urn off the monitor and the power bef or e unplugging the pow er cable. T urn off the computer befor e unplugging the mo nitor signal cable.
16 How to assemble your monitor hardware T urn the stand clockwise so that the arr ow on the bottom of the stand points to RISER UNLOCK ( ). And then detach the base fr om the stand () . Y ou can remove the headphone hook as illustrated. K eep the headphone hook somewher e safe.

18 How to assemble your monitor hardware Rotating the monitor 1. Pivot the displa y . Befor e r otating the monitor with a portrait vie wing orientation, the disp la y has to be rotated 90 degr ees. Right-click the de sktop and select Screen resolution fr om the popup menu.

50 Trouble shooting T r oubleshooting Fr equentl y ask ed questions (F A Q) The image has a faulty coloration. • The default Picture Mode is FPS1 , which is designed for FPS games. If y ou pr efer other pictur e modes, go to Picture Advanc ed and change setting in Picture Mode .
51 Troubleshooting No image can be seen. Is the pr ompt on the disp la y illuminated in green? If the LED is illuminated in gr een and ther e is a message Out of Range on the scr een, this means you ar e using a display mode that this monitor does not suppor t , please change the setting to one of the suppor ted mode.
