6 7 First charge the battery in your AirPadX, connect the included power supply to the jack on the side of your AirPadX (next to the ON/OFF button) and plug the power supply into an AC outlet. It may take up to 4 hours to fully charge the unit. The AirPadX does NOT charge via the included USB cable.
8 9 4. Set the correct time and touch Set. 5. T ouch Select time zone. Scroll and select your time zone. 6. T ouch Set date. Select the correct date and touch Set. 7. Similarly , set other options such as time and date format. 8. T ouch the Home icon or hard key to the right of the screen to exit back to your Home screen.
10 11 Y ou’ll want to install the Amazon Android Appstore so you can download FREE Apps, and purchase other ones. Note you will fi rst need to go to amazon.com and set up a free account if you don’t already have one. 1. On your Home screen, touch on the Settings icon.

14 15 Moving Apps between the 5 screens Y ou will notice 5 dots in the top center of the screen. These represent 5 discrete screens on your AirPadX. Y our Home screen is the screen in the middle of the 5 screens, and so when the center dot is the solid one you are looking at your Home screen.
16 17 6. T ouch OK in the window that appears. Y our AirPadX will now appear as two different Removable Storage Devices in “My Computer” - one for the main device memory , and one for the MicroSD card. T ransfer fi les like you would transfer from any drive to another .
18 19 How to connect the AirPadX to a TV First, make sure your TV has an HDMI input, you will also need a mini HDMI to HDMI cable (sold separately). Connect the AirPadX to your TV with the cable, then follow the instructions in your TV’ s manual to view the correct HDMI video input.
20 21 How to move Apps to a microSD Card, cont. 4. T ouch Move to SD card, the button changes to Moving. After it’ s moved, or if the App is already on the SD card, you will see an option to Move to Device. 5. T ouch the Home icon or hard key to the right of the screen to exit back to your Home screen.
22 23 Resetting to Factory Settings 4. T ouch Reset device (at the bottom of the screen). 5. If you really want to reset your AirPadX, touch Erase every- thing. Be careful since this is not r eversible. 6. W ait a few minutes while your AirPadX restarts.
