1 Before Operation Playable Media This unit suppor ts the followi ng formats: *MP3, WAV, W MA, MPEG-1, MPEG-2 (MPG/VOB), MPE G-4 (AVI), JPEG, and MP 3G files. Above media is playable on the following discs: *Blu-ray™ Discs, BD-ROM, BD -R, BD-RE, DVD, DVD±R, DVD+RW, VCD, CD-DA,CD-R, CD-RW, MPSG, VCDs, CD+Gs, CDs, and Data Discs.
2 Player Connections Audio Connections Line Out Connections Connect the RCA ca ble from the Audi o L and R outputs of the BDK-200 0 to the Line Ins (N OT Phono Ins) on the stereo a mplifier or TV. If using a TV that has only 1 input, only connect either the Le ft or Right Channel.
3 Front Panel Operat i on: 1) DISPLAY WINDOW - Displays play er status such as time, disc format, and song number. If no disc is in the tray , the display wi ndow will display NO DISC . Detailed information will also b e shown on the TV screen. 2) REMOTE SENSOR windo w - Receives signals from remote control.
4 Rear Panel Operati on: AC Cord Input - Connection to t he auto-detec t AC power supply (100-240V,50-60 Hz). Rear Panel Connections 1) Component Video Output ( Pb ) Blue Difference channel output. 2) Component Video Output – ( CVBS ) Luma (Luminance) output.
5 Remote Operation 1) POWER BUTTON - Turns the player on or o ff. Note: This just puts the unit into standby mode. To fully power the unit down, use the power switch on the unit’s front panel. 2) MUTE BUTTON - Turn th e sound On or Off. 3) EJECT BUTTON - Used to open an d close tray door.
6 20) Music Key But tons - Used to raise or l ower the pitch. (Only used in Karaoke mode) SHARP BU TTON (#) - Raises the key by a half tone . Flat Button (b) - Lowers the key by a half tone. 21) INFO BUTTON - Show the elapsed or remaining time for sing le track or the tot al disc.
7 Basic Operations Basic Playback Turn on the BDK-2 000. After a few mo ments the initial menu screen will appear. Loading A Disc 1. Press EJECT to ope n the disc tray. 2. Place a disc in the disc tray. 3. Press EJECT to close th e disc tray. 4. The disc will automatically play.
8 Disc 1) Press the Direction Buttons [ ◄ / ► } to select the “Di sc” . 2) Press the ENTER to confirm it. The disc will play automat ically if present. USB 1) Press the Direction Buttons [ ◄ / ► } to select the “U SB Menu” . 2) Press the ENTER to confirm it.
9 Setup menu System Setup Note: Pressing the RETURN Button will exit to the next highest menu level. 1) Press the Direction Buttons [ ◄ / ► } to select the “ S etup Menu” . 2) Press the ENTER Button to confirm it. General 1) Press the Direction Buttons [ ▲ / ▼ ] to select “General” .
10 3) Note the Version Number on the displ ay. 4) Press the “ ENTER ” Button to exit to th e Setup>General Menu . Software Update 1) Press the Direction Buttons [ ▲ / ▼ ] to select “Softw.
11 Disc Menu 1) Press the Direction Buttons [ ▲ / ▼ ] to select “Disc Menu” 2) Press the ENTER Button or Direction Button [ ► } to select the Sub-Menu . 3) Press the Direction Buttons [ ▲ / ▼ ] to select “English”, “German , “Portuguese” , or “Chinese” .
12 Slide 1) Press the Direction Buttons [ ▲ / ▼ ] to select “Slide” 2) Press the ENTER Button or Direction Button [ ► } to confirm it. Transition Mode 1) Press the Direction Buttons [ ▲ / ▼ ] to select “Transition Mode” 2) Press the ENTER Button or Direction Button [ ► } to select the Sub-Menu .
13 3) Press the Direction Buttons [ ▲ / ▼ ] to adjust –99 to +99 seconds . TV Display 1) Press the Direction Buttons [ ▲ / ▼ ] to select “TV Display ” .
14 Troubleshooting Incorrect operati ons are often mi staken for trouble and malfunctions. If you suspect that so mething is w rong with the unit, check the list below for sometimes the tr oubles lie wi thin another component. Re member to try inspecting other comp onents and electrical a ppliances in use.
