GENERAL Model D1EB units are factory assembled cooling only air condi- tioners designed for outdoor installation on a rooftop or a slab. Field-installed electric heater accessories are available to provide electric heat combined with electric cooling.
LIMIT ATIONS These units must be installed in accordance with the following national and local safety codes. 1. National Electrical Code ANSI/NFPS No. 70 or Canadian Electrical Code Part 1, C22.1 (latest editions). 2. Local plumbing and waste water codes and other applica - ble local codes.
CLEARANCES All units require certain clearances for proper operation and service. Refer to Figure 3 for the clearances required for com - bustion, construction, servicing and proper unit operation. WARNING: Do not permit overhanging structures or shrubs to obstruct the condenser air discharge outlet.
POWER AND CONTROL WIRING Field wiring to the unit must conform to provisions of the current N.E.C. ANSI/NFP A No. 70 or C.E.C. and/or local ordinances. The unit must be electrically grounded in accordance with local codes or, in their absence, with the N.
