The supply and return air duct systems should be designed for the CFM and static requirements of the job. They should NOT be sized to match the dimensions of the duct connections on the unit. CAUTION: When fastening ductwork to the side duct flanges on the unit, insert the screws through the duct flanges only .

DUCT COVERS - Units are shipped with all air duct openings covered. For side duct applications; 1. Remove and discard the supply and ret urn air duct covers. 2. Connect duct work to duct flanges on the rear of the uni t. For bottom duct applicat ions; 1.

NORMAL MAINT ENANCE CAUT ION: Prior to any of th e follo wing ma intena nce p roce- dures , sh ut off all pow er to t he unit to prev ent person al i njur y . Periodic maintenance normally consists of changing or cleaning filters and (under some conditions) cleaning the main burners.
