6 INST ALLA TION Unpac king Y ou are advised to k eep all transit de vices so that they can be refitted if the machine e ver has to be transpor ted again. 1. Using a spanner , unscrew and remo v e the rear right-hand bolt and lay the machine on its back, taking care not to squash the hoses .
7 ENGLISH W ater inlet Connect the water inlet hose to a tap with a 3/4" thread after having inserted the small filter “A” supplied with the machine. The other end of the inlet hose which connects to the machine can be tur ned in any direction.
8 Electrical connection This machine is designed to operate on a 220- 230 V , single-phase, 50 Hz supply . Check that y our domestic electrical installation can take the maxim um load required (2.25 kW), also taking into account any other appliances in use.

10 W ashing hints Sor ting the laundry F ollow the w ash code symbols on each gar ment label and the manuf acturer’ s washing instructions. Sor t the laundr y as follo ws: whites, coloureds , synthetics, delicates , woollens. T emperatures 95° f or nor mally soiled white cottons and linen (e.
11 ENGLISH Lipstick: moisten with acetone as abo v e, then treat stains with meth ylated spirits. Remov e any residual marks from white fabrics with bleach. Red wine: soak in water and detergent, rinse and treat with acetic or citric acid, then r inse.

Select the pr ogramme and star t it T ur n the programme selector dial cloc kwise to the required wash prog ramme and pull it outwards: the oper ating pilot light comes on and the machine star ts to operate. 7. At the end of the pr ogramme The machine stops automatically , the operating pilot light goes out.
17 ENGLISH MAINTENANCE C0002 P0038 P0041 1. Bodyw ork Clean the outside of the machine with warm water and a neutr al, non-abrasiv e household detergent. Rinse with clean water and dry with a soft cloth. Important: do not use methylated spirits, solv ents or similar products to clean the bodywork.
18 4. Drain filter T he drain filter collects threads and small objects inadv er tently left in the laundr y . Check regularly that the filter is clean. Open the filter door . Place a container under the filter and unscrew it. Pull out the filter . Clean the filter under a running tap, then refit it, screwing it fully in.
19 ENGLISH SOMETHING NO T WORKING ■ Pr oblem ■ P ossible cause ■ The machine does not start up: ■ Check that the door is firmly closed. ■ Check that the machine is plugged in and that there is pow er at the sock et. ■ Check that the main fuse has not b lown.
20 ■ Pr oblem ■ P ossible cause ■ The machine vibrates or is noisy: ■ Check that all the tr ansit bolts and packing hav e been removed. ■ Check that the machine is not resting against anything. ■ Check that the support feet are resting firmly on the ground and that the loc k nuts are securely tightened.
