• Do not change the specifications or modify this prod- uct. Indicator lights Rinse aid 1) Comes on when it is necessary to fill the rinse aid containe r. Refer to 'Use of rinse aid'. 1) When the salt and/or rinse aid containers are empty, the related indicator lights do not co me on while a washing programme operates.

5 6 It is normal that water overflows from the salt con- tainer when you fill it with salt. Make sure that there is no grain of salt outer of the salt compartment. Salt whic h s tays on the tank for a while drills the tank. It is recomm ended to start a wash - ing programme immediately after you fill the salt con- tainer.
• While you load cutlery and dishes, do these steps : – Load hollow items (e.g. cups, glas ses and pans) with the opening down. – Make sure that water does not collect in the con- tainer or in a deep ba se. – Make s ure that cutlery a nd dishes do no t lie inside one another.

• The end indicator light comes on. For better drying results, keep the do or ajar for some mi- nutes before you remove the d ishes. What to do if… The applian ce does not st art or stops du ring operati on. If there is a fault, first try to find a solution to the problem yourself. If you cannot find a solution to the problem yourself, contact t he Service Force C entre. Caution! Switch off the applia nce before you do the below suggested correctiv e actions.
The cleaning results are not satisfactory The dishes ar e not clean • The selected washing prog ramme is not applicable for the type of load and soil. • The baskets are loaded in correctly so that water c annot reach all surfaces. • Spray arms do not turn freely bec aus e of incorrect arrang em ent of the lo ad.
Warning! To discard the applia nce, follow the procedure: • Pull the mains plug out of the socket. • Cut off t he mains cable and mains plug and di scard them. • Discard th e door catch. This preven ts the child ren to close thems elves inside the applian ce and endang er their li ves.
3 4 The internal diameter must no t be smaller than the diam- eter of th e hose. If you con nect the wat er drain hos e to a trap sp igot under the sink, remove the plas tic membrane (A). If you do not remove the membran e, remaining food can cause a block- age in th e drain hose spi got.
