User manual Dishwasher ZDF 511.
Thank you for selecting our appliance We wish you lots of enjoyment with your new appliance and we hope that you will consider our brand again when purchasing household appliances. Please read this user manual carefully and keep it throughout the product life cycle as a reference document.
Safety information In the interest of your safety and to ensure the correct use, before installing and first using the appliance, read this user manual carefully, in- cluding its hints and warnings.
Installation • Check your dishwasher for any transport damage. Never connect a damaged ma- chine. If your dishwasher is damaged con- tact your supplier. • All packaging must be removed before use. • Any electrical and pl umbing work required to install this appliance must be carried out by a qualified and competent person.

In this case the programme has to be cancelled (see instructions “Cancel a washing pro- gramme in pr ogress” ). Function buttons In addition to the dishwash ing programm e selection, the follo wing func tions can al so be set with the hel p of these buttons.
Programme selection bu ttons • Starting the washing programme: 1. Pr ess the On/Off button. 2. Press the butto n correspondi ng to the required programme, th e correspond ing light remains ill u- minated while t he other program me lights turn o ff.
Delay start button This option allows th e start of the program me to be delayed from 1 to 19 hours. Afte r having selected the washing progra mme press th e delay star t button u ntil the flashin g number of the hou rs for the d elay start wi ll appear in th e digital display.

For this reason the programme duration, water and energy consumption levels can vary within the stated range for "Auto" programme (see "Washing programmes chart").

1. Press the On/Off button. The dishwasher must be in setting mode. 2. Simultaneously press and hold function buttons B and C , until the lights of function buttons A , B and C start flashing. 3. Press function button A , the lights of func- tion buttons B and C turn off while the light of function button A goes on flashing.
Remove any trace of salt. Replace the c ap tightly turning it clockwis e until it stops with a click. IMPORTANT! Immediat ely start a c omplete p rogramme. IMPORTANT! Water will overfl ow from the contain er as salt is added. IMPORTANT! Top up the special salt when the light on the control panel illuminates.
Adjusting the dosage of rinse aid Increase the dose if there are drops of water or lime spots on the dishes after washing. Reduce the dose if there are whitish streaks on the dishes or a bluish film on glassware or knife blades. Open the li d. Set the dosage le vel.
For washing in the dishwasher the following cutlery and dishes are not suitable: are of limited suitability: • Cutlery with wooden , horn, china or mother-of- pearls handle s. • Plastic items th at are not he at resistant. • Older cutlery wi th glued parts th at are not temper- ature resista nt.
The two rows of pron gs on the lower bask et can be easily lowe red to allow you to load pots, pa ns and bowls. Load upper ba sket. Li ght items (plastic bowls etc.) must be lo aded in t he up- per basket and arrang ed so they do no t move. For taller items, th e cup racks can b e folded up - wards.
To move to the higher posit ion proceed as follows: 1. Pu ll out the baske t until it stops. 2. Care fully lift both sides upwards un til the mecha- nism is enga ged and the ba sket is stable . To lower the basket to the original p osition proceed as follows: 1.

"3 in 1 function" This appliance is equipped with the "3 in 1 func- tion", that allows the use of the "3 in 1" combi detergent tablets.

Internal cleaning Ensure that the seals around the door, the de- tergent and rinse aid dispensers are cleaned regularly with a damp cloth. We recommend every 3 months to run the wash programme for heavy soiled dishes using de- tergent but without dishes.

The baskets must not be ov erloaded. • The spray arms do not rota te freely due to incorrect arrangement of the lo ad.
Noise level dB(A) 47 Consumption values The consumption values are intended as a guide and depends on the pressure and the temperature of the water and also by the var- iations of the power supply and the amount of dishes.

Inlet hose Connect the inlet hose to a water tap with an exte rnal thread of 3/4”. The inlet hose can be turned eith er to the left or th e right to suit the installa tion by means of the locknut. The locknut must b e correctly fitted to avoid water leaks.
Electrical connection CAUTION! Safety standards require the appliance to be earthed. Prior to using the appliance for the first time, ensure that the rated voltage and type of supply on the rating plate match that of the supply where the appliance is to be installed.
