User manual Dishwasher ZDI 112.
Thank you for selecting our appliance We wish you lots of enjoyment with your new appliance and we hope that you will consider our brand again when purchasing household appliances. Please read this user manual carefully and keep it throughout the product life cycle as a reference document.
Safety information In the interest of your safety and to ensure the correct use, before installing and first using the appliance, read this user manual carefully, in- cluding its hints and warnings.
Installation • Check your dishwasher for any transport damage. Never connect a damaged ma- chine. If your dishwasher is damaged con- tact your supplier. • All packaging must be removed before use. • Any electrical and pl umbing work required to install this appliance must be carried out by a qualified and competent person.
Programme selector dial and On/Off sw itch • when in this position, the mach ine is switche d off (correspondi ng light off), • when the mar ker on the dial corresponds with a programme, the machi.
Indicator lights Wash indicator li ght Illuminates when the washing and rinsing pha ses are running. Dry indicato r li ght Illuminates when the dryin g phase is runn ing. End of programme indi cator light Illuminat es when t he was hing p rogramm e has ended.

If you decide in future to use separated deter- gents, we advise that you: – Fill up the salt and rinse aid container. – Adjust the water hardness setting to the highest level and perform 1 normal washing programme without loading any dishes. – Adjust the water hardness setting according to the hardness of the water in your area.

Unscrew the ca p. Only before filling with salt for the first time , fill the sal t container wit h wa- ter. Using the fu nnel provide d, pour in the sa lt until the container is fille d with salt. Remove any trace of salt. Replace the c ap tightly turning it c lockwise unt i l it stops with a click.
Filling with rinse aid Open the li d. Fill up with rinse ai d. The maximum leve l for filling is indicat ed by "max" Clean up any ri ns e aid which overflows. Clos e the lid and p ress until it locks. Top up the rins e aid indica- tor ( B ) becomes cle ar CAUTION! Never fill the rin se aid dispense r with any other su bstances (e.
Open the li d. Set the dosage le vel. (The dose is factor y set in po- sition 4). Close the li d and press un- til it locks. Loading cutlery and dishes Sponges, household cloths and any object that can absorb water may not be washed in the dishwasher.
For washing in the dishwasher the following cutlery and dishes are not suitable: are of limited suitability: • Cutlery with wooden, ho rn, china or mother-of- pearls handle s. • Plastic items th at are not heat resistant. • Older cutlery with glued parts that are not tempera- ture resistant.
Load upper ba sket. Light items (plastic bowls etc.) must be lo aded in the up - per basket and arrang ed so they do no t move. For taller items, th e cup racks can b e folded up- wards.
Use of detergent IMPORTANT! Only use detergents suitable for dishwashers. Observe the manufacturer’s dosing and stor- age recommendations. Open the li d. Fill in the deter gent in compartment A . O bserve the do sing lev- els. For programmes with pre- wash add an additional detergent do se in com- partment B .
• Water may appear on the sides and the door of the dishwasher as the stainless steel will eventually become cooler than the dishes. CAUTION! When the washing programme has finished, it is recommended that the dishwasher is un- plugged and the water tap turned off.
Cleaning the spray arms NEVER try to remove the spray arms. If residues of soil have clogged the holes in the spray arms, remove them with a cocktail stick. External cleaning Clean the external surfaces of the machine and control panel with a damp soft cloth.
CAUTION! When a unit is no longer being used: • Pull the plug out of the socket. • Cut off the cable and plug and dispose of them. • Dispose of the door catch.

The wash results ar e not satisfactory The dishes ar e not clean • The wrong wash ing programme h as been selec ted. • The dish es are arranged in su ch a way as to s top water reaching all pa rts of the surface. The baskets must not be ov erloaded.
Noise level dB(A) 51 Consumption values The consumption values are intended as a guide and depends on the pressure and the temperature of the water and also by the var- iations of the power supply and the amount of dishes.
Upper basket Cutlery bask et Lower basket cup racks: position A Installation WARNING! Any electrical and/or plumbing work required to install this appliance should be carried out by a qualified electrician and/or plumber or compe- tent person.
If the water inlet hose leaks, the safety valve cuts off the water supply. WARNING! The electrical cable for the safety valve is in the double-walled water inlet hose and is live. Therefore do not immerse the water inlet hose or the safety valve in water.
Electrical connection CAUTION! Safety standards require the appliance to be earthed. Prior to using the appliance for the first time, ensure that the rated voltage and type of supply on the rating plate match that of the supply where the appliance is to be installed.
