User manual Dishwasher ZDT 420.
Thank you for selecting our appliance We wish you lots of enjoyment with your new appliance and we hope that you will consider our brand again when purchasing household appliances. Please read this user manual carefully and keep it throughout the product life cycle as a reference document.
Safety information In the interest of your safety and to ensure the correct use, before installing and first using the appliance, read this user manual carefully, in- cluding its hints and warnings.
Installation • Check your dishwasher for any transport damage. Never connect a damaged ma- chine. If your dishwasher is damaged con- tact your supplier. • All packaging must be removed before use. • Any electrical and pl umbing work required to install this appliance must be carried out by a qualified and competent person.
Setting mode Press the On/Off button; if indicator lights of the programme selection buttons are illuminated and on the digital display are visible two hori- zontal lines the appliance is in setting mode.
Programme selection bu ttons • Starting the washing programme: 1. Pr ess the On/Off button. 2. To select a program me, press either one of the two program me selection bu ttons, the i ndicator light.
Delay start button This option allows th e start of the program me to be delayed from 1 to 19 hours. Afte r having selected the washing progra mme press the del ay start button until the flashin g number of the hours f or the delay start will appear in th e digital disp lay.
Deactivation/act ivation of t he audible signals 1. Press the On/Off button. The dishwasher must be in setting mode. 2. Simultaneously press and hold function buttons B and C until the lights of function buttons A , B and C start flashing.

Load cutlery and dishes Sponges, household cloths and any object that can absorb water may not be washed in the dishwasher. • Before loading the dishes, you should: – Remove all left over food and debris.
For washing in the dishwasher the following cutlery and dishes are not suitable: are of limited suitability: • Cutlery with wooden , horn, china or mother-of- pearls handle s. • Plastic items th at are not he at resistant. • Older cutlery with glued parts tha t are not tempera- ture resistant.
The two rows of pron gs on the lower bask et can be easily lowe red to allow you to load pots, pa ns and bowls. Load upper ba sket. Light items (plastic bowls etc.) must be lo aded in the up - per basket and arrang ed so they do no t move. For taller items, th e cup racks can b e folded up- wards.
To move to the higher posit ion proceed as follows: 1. Pu ll out the baske t until it stops. 2. Care fully lift both sides upwards un til the mecha- nism is enga ged and the ba sket is stable . To lower the basket to the original p osition proceed as follows: 1.

Put the flat filter A back in the base of the washi ng compartmen t and ensure that it fits perfectly under the two guides D .

Frost precautions Avoid placing the machine in a location where the temperature is below 0°C. If this is unavoidable, empty the machine, close the ap- pliance door, disconnect the water inlet pipe and empty it.
Something not working The dishwasher will not start or stops during operation. Certain problems are due to the lack of simple maintenance or oversights, which can be solved with the help of the indications described in the chart, without calling out an engineer.

Inlet hose Connect the inlet hose to a water tap with an exte rnal thread of 3/4”. The inlet hose can be turned eith er to the left or th e right to suit the installa tion by means of the locknut. The locknut must b e correctly fitted to avoid water leaks.
Electrical connection CAUTION! Safety standards require the appliance to be earthed. Prior to using the appliance for the first time, ensure that the rated voltage and type of supply on the rating plate match that of the supply where the appliance is to be installed.
