• Do not change the specifications or modify this prod- uct. Risk of injury and dam age to the applia nce. • Do not use the appliance: – if the main s cable or water hoses are damag ed, – if the control pane l, workto p or plinth area are dam- aged, that you can get acces s to the inn er side of the applia nce.
Indicator lights The indicator light comes on w hen the wash ing pro- gramme is completed. Auxiliary functions: • Level of the water softene r. • Activation/deactiva tion of the audible signals. • Activation/deactiva tion of the rinse aid dispenser.

Use of the appliance Refer to the follow ing instru ctions f or each step of pro- cedure: 1. Make a chec k if the water softener le vel is correct for the water hardness in your area. If neces sary set the water softener. 2. Fill the salt container wit h dishwasher salt.
1 2 Set switch to position 1 or 2. Electronic adjustment The water softener is set at the factory at leve l 5. 1. Switch on the applianc e. 2. Make sure that the appliance is in setting mode. 3. Press and hold function buttons B and C until the indicator lights for function buttons A, B and C start to flash.
Use of rinse aid Caution! Only use branded rinse aid for dishwash ers. Do these ste ps to fill the rinse aid dispenser: 1 2 3 4 5 Fill when the rinse aid in- dicator (B) become s clear. Caution! Do not fill the rinse aid dis penser with other products (e.
1 Arrange servic e dishes and large lids around the edge of the l ower basket. 2 3 The rows of prong s in the lower baske t can be flat to load pots, pans and b owls. 1 2 Use the cutlery grid. If the dimensions of the cutlery prevent use of the cutlery grid, re move it.
1 2 Do these steps to move the upper basket to the uppe r or lower position: 1. Move the front r unne r stops (A) ou t. 2. Pull the basket out. 3. Put the basket in the upper or lowe r position. 4. Replace t he front run ner st ops (A) in their initial po- sition.
Multitab function The multitab function is for c ombi detergent ta blets. These tabl ets contai n agents such as deterge nt, rinse aid and dishwasher sa lt. Some types of tablets ca n contain other agents. Do a check if the se tablets are applicab le for the l ocal wate r hardness.
2. Release function buttons B and C to ca ncel the wash- ing programme. At this time you can do these steps: 1. Switch off the applianc e. 2. Set a new washing prog ramme . Fill the detergent dispenser w ith detergent before you set a new wash ing program me.
3 To remove filters B and C, turn the handle approxi- mately 1/4 anticlockwise. 4 Remove the flat filte r A from the bottom of the ap- pliance. 5 Put the flat filter A in the bottom of the appliance. Install the flat fil ter cor- rectly under the tw o guides D.

The cleaning results are not satisfactory The dishes ar e not clean • The selected washing p rogramme is not applicable for the type of load and soil. • The baskets are loaded in correctly so that water c annot reach all surfaces. • Spray arms do not turn freely bec aus e of incorrect arrang em ent of the lo ad.
Warning! To discard the applia nce, follow the procedure: • Pull the mains plug out of the socket. • Cut off t he mains cable and mains plug and di scard them. • Discard th e door catch. This preven ts the child ren to close thems elves inside the applian ce and endang er their li ves.
• Do not put the wa ter inlet ho se or the s afety valve in water. • If the water inle t hose or the safety val ve is damaged, immediately disconnect the mains plug from the mains socket. • Only let the Servic e Force Centre repla ce the water inlet hose with safety val ve.
