Depending upon the position which you choose for your appliance, you may wish to re verse the way in which the door opens.
7 Bef ore using Remov e all securing tapes. W ash inside the appliance with luke warm water and bicarbonate of soda (5 ml to 0.5 litre of water). Do not use soap or deter gent as the smell may linger . Dry thoroughly . The electrical connections W ARNING: THIS APPLIANCE MUST BE EAR THED.

9 Door rever sal directions Unplug the appliance from the po wer supply before carrying out the belo w-mentioned operations. Remov e the ventilation grill (D). Unscre w the bottom hinge (E). Remov e the freezer door by releasing it from the middle hinge (H).
10 OPERA TION Setting the temperature The temperature inside the refrigerator and freezer is regulated by a single thermostat with 6 temperature positions and one «OFF» ( O ) position. Position 1 = minimum cold Position 6 = maximum cold T urn the thermostat dial to the required position; the intermediate position is usually the most suitable.

12 Fresh f ood refrigeration T o obtain the best performance, do not store warm food or e vaporating liquids in the refrigerator; do cov er or wrap the food, particularly if it has a strong flav our . Do not cov er the shelves with an y protecti ve material, such as paper , cardboard or plastic, which may obstruct the air circulation through them.
13 Drink dispenser The container for cooling drinks (Fig. 9) is located in the door of the fridge. It is easily remov ed from its runners for filling and cleaning by pushing it upwards from the left side and then by pulling sharply outwards. Remo ve the clip on lid to fill.
14 Cool chec k temperature guide This model has a cool check temperature guide fitted to a shelf in the fridge compartment. The guide is designed to sho w whether the fridge is operating at safe temperatures for all food types. The guide consists of a temperature sensiti ve strip sealed in the shelf trim.
15 Defr osting Refrigerator The refrigerator automatically defrosts e v ery time the compressor stops. Important T o av oid defrost water overflo wing into the fridge, periodically clean the water dischar ge hole in the centre of the V shaped drip collector at the back of the refrigerator compartment behind the fruit and ve getable drawer .
16 MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING Before any maintenance or cleaning w ork is carried out, DISCONNECT the appliance from the ELECTRICITY supply . Internal c leaning Clean the inside and accessories with warm water and bicarbonate of soda (5ml to 0.5 litre of water).
