4 Y our New W asher -Dryer This new machine, which is fitted with the New Jet System, meets all modern requirements for ef fective treatment of laundry with low water , energy and detergent consumption. ● The special wool programme with its new delicate wash system treats your woollens with extreme care.

6 The Contr ol Panel 2 “Spin Speed” button Press this button repeatedly to change the spin speed, if you want your laundry to be spun at a speed different from the one proposed by the machine. The relevant light will light up. The following speeds are available for the different fabrics.
7 3 “Pr e w ash” button W ith this option the machine performs a prewash cycle at 30°C max. The prewash cycle ends with a short spin at 650 r .p.m. in programmes for Cottons and Synthetics, and with emptying of the water for Delicates. This option is not available with the wool programme.
8 • Draining of water: by depressing the “Start/Pause” buttont the water of programme “Soak” is emptied out and the water of the last rinse on programmes with Rinse Hold option is emptied out and the laundry is spun . Important! Y ou must set the washing machine to P AUSE before you make any change in the programme in progress.
9 11 Pr o gr amme phase indicator lights When you select a programme, the lights relevant to the phases that form the programme light up. After have started the programme, only the light relevant to the phase that is currently being carried out will remain lit.
10 Operating Sequence W ASHING Before the first wash we recommend that you run a cotton cycle at 60°C, without any laundry in the machine to remove any manufacturing residue from the drum and tub. Pour 1/2 a measure of detergent into the main wash compartment of the dispenser drawer and start up the machine.
11 7. Select the “Dela y Start” Before you start the pr ogramme , if you wish the starting to be delayed, press the “Delay Start” button repeatedly , or keep it pressed, to select the desired delay . 19 Maintenance and Cleaning Before any maintenance or cleaning is carried out you must DISCONNECT the appliance from the electricity supply . Descaling The water we use normally contains lime. It is a good idea to periodically use a water softening powder in the machine.

25 Unpacking All transit bolts and packing must be removed before using the appliance. Y ou are advised to keep all the packaging for re-use in case the machine is to be transported again. Using a spanner unscrew and remove the two rear bottom screws.
26 W ater inlet Connect the hose supplied with the machine to a tap with a 3/4” thread. Do not use already employed hoses. Installation should comply with local water authority and building regulations’ requirements. The appliance must be connected to a cold water supply .
27 Push the drain hose onto the spigot and secure with a clip if required, ensure a loop is formed in the drain hose (see diagram) to prevent waste from the sink entering the washing machine. The drain hose may be extended to a maximum of 4 metres. An additional drain hose and joining piece is available from your local Service Force Centre.
28 Electrical connection Any electrical work required to install this appliance should be carried out by a qualified electrician or competent person. W ARNING: THIS APPLIANCE MUST BE EAR THED. The manufacturer declines any liability should this safety measure not be observed.
