Y1 - 03 -023 2D 4 Figure 1 - RCL-30 0A Com ponents SECTION 2- SEARCHLIGHT MOUNTING Make s ure the area is clean an d dr y. T he searchl ight c an be m ounted where desired, using appropriate length 5/ 16” diameter stainless steel fasteners. One set is provided in the mounting k it and four (4) nylon shoulder washers.
Y1 - 03 -023 2D 5 Self Park Featu re The RCL -300A has a Self -Park feature. The Self Park function will automatically retur n the light to a specif ic position when turned of f. W hen mounting the light, determine in advance t he di rection t hat t he light should f ace when it is turned of f.
Y1 - 03 -023 2D 6 Mounting Both the surf ace m ount and the flush m ount opt ions require acc ess to the b ack side of the m ounting location. Verify that there are not any obstructions behind the area where the switch is to be located, e.g., bulkheads, wires, pl umbing or h ardware.
Y1 - 03 -023 2D 7 SECTION 5 - URC -300 MASTER CONTROLLER Mounting The Master Contro ller can be m ounted in an y position near t he searchlight that is protected f rom the weather. Check in advance that the coax cable from the Point Pad and the wiring harness f rom the searchlight can be r outed to this location.
Y1 - 03 -023 2D 8 Wiring to the searchlight The RCL-300A se archlight is supplied with a 15- foot integral wire harness. If y ou m ust lengthen the wire harness , use heavy duty wire to minimize the voltage dro p. This is especially im portant f or the W HITE 12 A W G lamp power, BLACK 12 AW G la m p ground, ORANGE power wire and BLUE ground wires.
Y1 - 03 -023 2D 9 The URC-300 Master Controller has a searchlight m otor time - out feature. If a Point Pad™ rotation switch (right or lef t) is continually engaged for more than 50 seconds, the Master Cont roller will int errupt the operation u ntil the Point Pad s witch is disengag ed.
Y1 - 03 -023 2D 10 Press the Up or Do wn arrows to raise or lower the sea rchlight beam . To activate the XRC iZ™ feature, press and hold the ON/OFF button for m ore than 5 seconds. The gree n LED ind9cates that the XRCiZ ™ feature is enabled. To deactivate the XRCiZ ™ feature, press and hold the ON/OFF button for m ore than 5 s econds.
