3 Chapter 1 Introduction Modem F eatures The Modem featur es two LED s (lights) on its front panel, and ser ies of ports on its r ear panel. W e recommend the user beco me familiar with these features before installing or setting up the Modem.
4 Ac tion tec USB Home DSL Modem U ser Guide Rear Panel The Modem has four ports on its rear panel: Line , Phone , USB , and Pow e r . Line Port The Line port is used to connect the M odem to the DSL outlet. Phone Port The Phone port is used to connect a t elephone to the M odem.
