4 SETUP Sensor Setup Set the A-B-C Switc h The A -B-C switc h is located inside the batt er y compar tment. It can be set to A , B or C. Ho we ver , you must select the same letter c hoices for bot h the sensor and the displa y unit in order for the units to sync hronize.
5 PLEASE DISPOSE OF OLD OR DEFECTIVE BATTERIES IN AN ENVIRONMENT ALL Y SAFE WAY AND IN ACCORDANCE WITH Y OUR LOCAL LAWS AND REGUL ATIONS. BA TTERY SAFETY : Clean the battery contacts and also those of the device prior to battery installation. Remove batteries from equipment which is not to be used for an extended period of time.
6 Intelli-T ime ® Cloc k Intelli-T ime products are pre-progr ammed with t he correct time and date. Intelli-T ime tec hnology instr ucts the time and dat e to set t hemselves. All y ou need to do is select your Time Zone and Daylight Sa ving Time pref erences.
7 Placement for Maximum Accuracy AcuRite sensors are sensitive to surrounding envir onmental conditions. Proper placement of bot h the display unit and outdoor sensor are cr itical to the accuracy and perf ormance of t his product. Display Unit Placement Place the displa y unit in a dr y area free of dir t and dust.
8 Using t he Thermometer High/Low Records Press the “low” or “high” button to view the lowest or highest r ecorded values for temperature and humidity . While viewing the lowest or highest recorded v alue, press and hold the “low” or “high” button for 2 seconds to manually clear t he currently displayed recorded v alues.
9 Troubleshooting No outdoor sensor reception no bars If the wireless signal indicator shows no bars: • Relocate t he display unit and/or the outdoor sensor . The units must be within 330 f t (1 00 m) of each ot her . • Make sure both units are placed at least 3 fee t (.
