5 FEA TURES AND DESIGN This Multimedia Projector is designed with the most advanced technology for portability, durability, and ease of use. The projector utilizes built-in multimedia features, a palette of 16.77 million colors, and matrix liquid crystal display (LCD) technology.

Air blown from the exhaust vent is hot. When using or installing the projector, following attention should be taken.
7 PREP ARA TION SETTING-UP THE PR OJECT OR P ositioning the Projector ● This projector is basically designed to project on a flat projection surface. ● The projector can be focused from 4.6'(1.4m) ~ 35.4'(10.8m). ● Refer to the figure below to adjust the screen size.
8 PREP ARA TION ● Do not cover the vent slot. ● Keep the rear grill at least one meter away from any object. ● Make sure that there is no object under the projector. An object under the projector may prevent the projector from taking the cooling air through the bottom vent slot.
9 PREP ARA TION Mo ving the Projector Use the Carry Handle when moving the Projector. ● Replace the lens cover and rotate the feet fully clockwise (to shorten the feet) when moving the projector to prevent damage to the cabinet.

(Refer to P12 ~15.) When controlling the computer with the Remote Control of this projector, connect the mouse port to this terminal.

17 BEFORE OPERA TION Remote Contr ol Batteries Installation 1 2 3 Slide the lid upward. Press the lid downward and slide it. For correct polarity (+ and –), be sure the battery terminals are in contact with the pins in the compartment. Remove the battery compartment lid.

[Fine sync. / Total dots / White Balance / Contrast / Brightness] (Refer to P28) PC ADJUST MENU Used to adjust the parameters to match with the input signal format.
21 BEFORE OPERA TION VIEW MENU Used to display, read or write the image data in a memory card through the PC CARD SLOT. (Refer to P34, 37) MODE MENU Used to select the MCI input mode. (Refer to P34) MENU BAR IN MCI MODE Press MENU BUTTON while being in MCI mode.
22 B ASIC OPERA TIONS T urning on the Projector Connect the projector's AC power cord into a wall outlet. The LAMP POWER indicator lights RED, and the READY indicator lights GREEN. Press the power ON-OFF button on the Remote Control Unit or on the Top Control to ON.
23 B ASIC OPERA TION ADJUSTING THE IMA GE ZOOM Adjustment 1 Press ZOOM button on the Top Control or the Remote Control to turn into the ZOOM mode. 2 Adjust the size of the image by pressing POINT UP/DOWN button. Press UP button to make the image larger, and press DOWN button to make the image smaller.
Press the MENU button and the ON-SCREEN MENU will appear. Press the POINT LEFT/RIGHT buttons to select SOUND and press the SELECT button. Another dialog box SOUND ADJUST Menu will appear. 24 B ASIC OPERA TION Sound Volume Adjustment Press the VOLUME (+/–) buttons (located on the Top Control or on the Remote Control Units) to adjust the volume.
Press the MENU button and the ON-SCREEN MENU will appear. Press the POINT LEFT/RIGHT buttons to select Computer and press the SELECT button. 25 COMPUTER MODE SELECTING COMPUTER MODE Direct Operation Press the MODE button on the Top Control or the COMPUTER / MCI button on Remote Control Unit.
26 COMPUTER MODE PC ADJUSTMENT This Projector can automatically detect display signals from most personal computers currently distributed. However, some computers employ special signal formats which are different from the standard ones and may not be detected by this projector.
27 COMPUTER MODE COMP A TIBLE COMPUTER SPECIFICA TIONS Basically this projector can accept the signal from all computers with the V and H-Frequency listed below mentioned and less than 135 MHz of Dot Clock. NOTE : Specifications are subject to change without notice.
28 COMPUTER MODE PICTURE IMA GE ADJUSTMENT Press the MENU button and the ON-SCREEN MENU will appear. Press the POINT LEFT/RIGHT buttons to select IMAGE and press the SELECT button. Another dialog box PICTURE IMAGE ADJUSTMENT Menu will appear. Press the POINT DOWN button and a red-arrow icon will appear.
29 COMPUTER MODE The Auto Image function is provided to automatically adjust Fine sync., Total dots, and Picture Position for most computers. Press the MENU button and the ON-SCREEN MENU will appear. Press the POINT LEFT/RIGHT buttons to select AUTO IMAGE and press the SELECT button.
30 COMPUTER MODE PICTURE POSITION ADJUSTMENT The position of the image can be adjusted vertically and horizontally through PICTURE POSITION ADJUSTMENT. Press the MENU button and the ON-SCREEN MENU will appear. Press the POINT LEFT/RIGHT buttons to select POSITION and press the SELECT button.
31 VIDEO MODE Press the MENU button and the ON-SCREEN MENU will appear. Press the POINT LEFT/RIGHT buttons to select Video and press the SELECT button. SELECTING VIDEO MODE Direct Operation Press the MODE button on the Top Control or the VIDEO button on the Remote Control Unit.
32 VIDEO MODE PICTURE IMA GE ADJUSTMENT Press the MENU button and the ON-SCREEN MENU will appear. Press the POINT LEFT/RIGHT buttons to select IMAGE and press the SELECT button. Another dialog box PICTURE IMAGE ADJUSTMENT Menu will appear. Press the POINT DOWN button and a red-arrow icon will appear.
33 MCI MODE OPERA TING THE PC CARD SLO T This projector has a PC CARD SLOT on its side. Pictures in a memory card (SmartMedia with PC Card Adapter or PC card) can be displayed just by inserting the card into PC CARD SLOT. It is unnecessary to connect with other input equipment.
34 MCI MODE SHO W THE D A T A IN THE MEMOR Y CARD Displa y Data on Screen ● This projector can project only the image data edited with Media Card Imager or the data in Bit Map type or in JPEG type through the PC CARD SLOT.
35 MCI MODE PICTURE IMA GE ADJUSTMENT Press the MENU button and the ON-SCREEN MENU will appear. Press the POINT LEFT/RIGHT buttons to select IMAGE and press the SELECT button. Another dialog box PICTURE IMAGE ADJUSTMENT Menu will appear. Press the POINT DOWN button and a red-arrow icon will appear.
36 MCI MODE PICTURE POSITION ADJUSTMENT The position of the image can be adjusted vertically and horizontally through PICTURE POSITION ADJUSTMENT. Press the MENU button and the ON-SCREEN MENU will appear. Press the POINT LEFT/RIGHT buttons to select POSITION and press the SELECT button.
37 MCI MODE WRITE D A T A INT O MEMOR Y CARD Access to the Car d with the Projector If your computer doesn't have the PC card write equipment, the data can be written or read by connecting with this projector. NOTE : This operation can be made only by Media Card Imager in PC.
38 MCI MODE SMAR TMEDIA AND PC CARD AD APTER SmartMedia and PC Card Adapter are provided with this LCD projector. SmartMedia can be used as a PC card conforming to the PC Card Standard-ATA by combining with PC Card Adapter. Install / Remo ve the Smar tMedia INST ALL Insert SmartMedia fully into PC Card Adapter.
39 MCI MODE SmartMedia ● SmartMedia is a precision device. Do not bend it, drop it, subject it to strong forces or shocks or place where strong static electrical charge can be generated. ● Do not touch the surface of the Contact Area with fingers or allow it to be stained with foreign mate- rials.
40 SETTING SETTING MENU Press the MENU button and the ON-SCREEN MENU will appear. Press the POINT LEFT/RIGHT buttons to select SETTING and press the SELECT button. Another dialog box SETTING Menu will appear. Press the POINT DOWN button and a red-arrow icon will appear.
41 APPENDIX OPERA TING WIRELESS MOUSE Installation The Wireless Remote Control Unit is not only able to operate the projector but can also be used as a wireless mouse for a PC. POINT buttons and two CLICK buttons are used for wireless mouse operation.
42 APPENDIX MAINTENANCE TEMPERA TURE W ARNING INDICA T OR The TEMPERATURE WARNING Indicator flashes red when the internal temperature of the projector exceeds the normal temperature. The Indicator stops flashing when the temperature of the projector become normal.
43 APPENDIX LAMP REPLA CEMENT Indicator When the Lamp of the projector draws to an end, the LAMP REPLACEMENT indicator lights yellow. When the image become dark or the color of the image becomes unnatural, replacement of the Lamp is required. Turn off the projector and disconnect the AC plug.
44 APPENDIX TR OUBLESHOO TING Before calling your dealer or Boxlight for assistance, check the troubleshooting tips below. 1. Make sure you have connected the projector to your equipment as described in the section "CONNECTING THE PROJECTOR" on pages 10 ~ 15.
