M ost number key s have three or four letters printed on the m. The keys f or 0 , # and l do no t have printed letters because they are used for special charac ters.

It wil l reset itself forward one hour in the Spring and backward one hour in the Autumn. M ake sure you have set the correct date and tim e in the Date&Time s e t t ing.

25 4 4 Troubleshoo ting 4 If you think there is a problem wi th your cordl ess hand s e t, check the chart be low and follow the troubl eshooting tips. Most prob lems can be easily resolved by yourself. If you need additional help, the Brother Sol ut i ons Center offers lat e st FAQs and troubleshooting tips.
Chapter 4 26 Error messages 4 As wi th any sophisticated o ffice product , errors may occur. If this happen s, y our cordless hand set identifies the error and shows an error message. T he mos t common error messages a re shown below. You can correct most errors by yourself.

Chapter 4 28 Clean ing 4 Clean t he outs ide of t he cordless handset with a soft cloth. You should al s o clea n the charge contac ts once a m onth. If t h e charg e contacts are not clean, the battery may not charge properly. CAUTION Use neutral detergents.
