This equipment is not designed for making emergency telephone calls when the power fails. Alternative arrangements should be made for access to emergency services. This product is intended for registration to any base in the BT On-Air range. For SMS text messaging to work you must register to a BT On-Air 2100 SMS or BT On-Air 2300 SMS base station.

Situate your product close enough to the mains power sockets so that the cable will reach. Make sure it is at least 1 metre away from other electrical products to avoid inter fer ence.

Note When planning to use a handset with more than one base, we recommend that you: • Give a number to each base (from 1-4). • Number each handset (from 1-6). • Register your handset(s) at base 2 (and 3 & 4 if used) using the same internal number as at base 1.
On your On-Air 2000 Executive handset: Press the UP button to display Base . Press OK to display Register . Press OK . Use the UP or DOWN button to scroll to Automatic . Press OK to confirm. then, immediatel y, on your BT On-Air DECTFax Plus: Press the OK button.
On your On-Air 2000 Executive handset: Press the UP button to display Base . Press OK to display Register . Press OK . Use the UP or DOWN button to scroll to Custom . Press OK to confirm. Press the DOWN button to scroll to the required base number . Press OK to confirm.
Note The symbol on your handset display indicates when you are in range of the base station. If the symbol disappears you are out of range and will need to move closer to the base station. Please note that this product does not have autotalk standby .
Press the DOWN button until Directory is displayed. Press the OK button to confir m. Use the DOWN button to scroll to New . Press the OK button to confir m.
If you have multiple handsets registered to a base you can make inter nal calls between handsets. Press the number of the handset you wish to dial i.e 1 , 2 , 3 , 4 , 5 , 6 . Or To call all handsets press the ✱ button Press the GREEN PHONE button. Press the RED PHONE button to end the call.
Please refer to your main On-Air user guide for instr uctions on accessing the Calls list. Calls list The diagram below shows an example of what your handset display will look like. The ar row is pointing inwards which indicates the calls list. If the ar row is pointing outwards it indicates the redial list.
Press the DOWN button to select CALLS . Press the OK button. Press the OK button again to select Calls list or press the DOWN button to select Redial list and then press the OK button. The most recently received or dialled number will be displayed. Press the UP or DOWN button to scroll to the entr y you want.
17 Y ou can set your handset to beep or play a tone when you press a button on the keypad or to indicate when your batter y is low . The handset will come already set to ON. Press the DOWN button to enter the Ringing and beeps menu. Press the OK button to confir m.
